PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
Football will be here soon enough fellas!
Jalin Marshall and Tyquan Lewis look like they are juniors all ready. Huge for incoming freshmen.
Shazier is killing me with that outfit lol
That and the enormous container of animal crackers.
Dude was also carrying a cake in one of those photos. You're in training camp, son! Back off the junk!
Although you will be burning, like, 10000 calories a day...
I normally take no interest in such things, but he seems like he would be a cool dude to hang out with just based on how he carries himself and the different way he dresses. Plus the fact that he's Ryan Damn Shazier on The Ohio State University football team.
Ryan is a nice guy. A buddy of mine had a math class with him and said he was really personable and down to earth. Hearsay I know, but I've always been a fan of the way he conducts himself with reporters, media members, etc.
Hate to say it but it looks like Cardale is on that Jamarcus Russell diet
"Winter is coming" - Urban Meyer
I just kept thinking of Charlie Murphy saying how when OJ came in to studio 54 how he had a big ass head. Damn Cardale.
A wise man once said "success is not final and failure is not fatal"
I could imagine him lining up as a tight end for a few plays this year. Does he have great hands?
a lot of freshman will definitely be seeing PT this year
Am I the only person that thinks a lot of these kids have haircuts from 1992? Also I don't remember Kenny G being this ripped. Football is just around the corner!
Yea, bro. Kid 'n' Play would be proud!
Don't be surprised if Kenny G ends up with a decent NFL career. He would definitely be able to start for many many D1 teams around the country. If our offense is as good as predicted, he will get some PT to show the nation. He is just in the unique position of playing on the same team as another QB with unique abilities.
Remember, we would not be coming off of a 12-0 season without him salvaging the Purdue game. Once Kenny was able to get in the game, it became one of the most exciting games in recent seasons.
I feel bad for the players that have to block Spence & Washington. Good lord!
But think of how much better our OT's are going to get in practice? Win/win!
Marcus Hall looks like he's not carrying a lot of bad weight, if he can stay away from the penalties this year he could really kick it up a notch.
I also noticed that he looks to have slimmed down a bit. That is encouraging. One critique of his performance last year was sometimes he had a tendency to give one of those one big shove blocks then watch the play. Shedding a few of those pounds may help him to play through the whistle a little more, which can go a very long way.
I think in plays where he wasn't able to completely overpower the DT, he got beat because he wasn't agile enough to adjust to the pressure and he would end up holding because of that. (I don't have the numbers but I'd say with some confidence that he led the line in penalties.) If he's put on some more muscle and slimmed down, hopefully he'll be able to move better to keep the DT squared up and not have to grab the jersey as he goes by. I'd love to see him start stonewalling guys instead of just outweighing them
Shedding the pounds and becoming a more versatile blocker may get him drafted. Just has to produce.
Absolutely. If you have a guard that looks like a tackle, you're probably in good shape. If your tackles look like guards, you're screwed.
Speaking of which: Decker, Farris, and Mewhort all look like towering behemoths.
Jt Moore looks like a beast
Anyone think Chris Worley looks a tad bit like Jared Sullinger?
Tyquan Lewis is an animal. Also, rocking the Scarlet & Gray headphones. So...he's awesome.
The world is full of kings & queens who'll blind your eyes & steal your dreams - it's heaven & hell - Ronnie James Dio.
All the boys look in really good shape. Jalin Marshall has been in the weight room. So has Armani Reeves ... See those arms? Lewis looks like he eats rocks. Marcus Hall looks really trim.
I LOVE the fact that we can fixate on the team now instead of focusing all energy on the wild ride that is recruiting.
Tyquan Lewis looks like a young John Simon/Vern Gholston...he is only 17/18 years old, thats crazy! If he puts as much work on the field this month as he did in the weight room he is going to be getting as much time as DeDe and Spence did last year.
Hope Chris Carter has a monster year. That beard is good for two tackles a game.
I get a "known malicious website" comment when i tried pulling up the site... anyone else get that? Any other place i can check these out?
Adjust your filter on your protection software and allow the website. It is fine.
“I have yet to be in a game where luck was involved. Well-prepared players make plays. I have yet to be in a game where the most prepared team didn't win.” -Urban Meyer-
I get the same thing Ell
I know this had been stated several times but those guys are all huge. Expecting big things from all of them. So excited for football!
While Ohio State's players hurdled the brick walls of Michigan Stadium in their throwback uniforms to celebrate with Buckeye fans, Michigan tailback Michael Shaw sobbed uncontrollably while walking off the field. - Grand Rapid Press (21-10 OSU)<
I hope Chris Carter has the attitude to go along with the Kimbo Slice look...
Thanks for posting these and I have to agree with everyone else, those freshmen look ready to contribute!
Hardly home but always reppin
