PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
It's funny because this is exactly how I looked. We just don't allow 77 yard runs, it makes all Bama fans look like this.
Looked like someone farted in front of him.
That guy in the 10 jersey looks like he's missing a front tooth.
That's so Bama
The postgame show is brought to you by... Christ, I can't find it. The hell with it...
Incredibly classy response, sir. Love the comment on a fan base you obviously know nothing about. Believe it or not, the entirety of Alabama isn't toothless hicks, barefoot wearing overalls with missing teeth. The fact you think so shows your ignorance.
"Lighten up, Francis"
You're on an Ohio State site yammering about how 'We just don't allow 77 yard runs' and then you have the gall to jump on a reply you didn't like. If this guy is so ignorant and misinformed, why respond to him? Have a little tact, this isn't a Bammy fansite.
I'm not allowed to be offended when he says typical bama fans are missing teeth? Wow, I didn't realize that personal insults, just because I'm an Alabama fan, was okay. I'm on an OSU forum because I actually am a big fan of Ohio State. I posted the picture because it was a ridiculous reaction, one that I had myself. So, I guess making fun of myself isn't okay either.
Got it, at least I know the rules now.
Please don't play the victim role. Fine that you thought his post was in poor taste, but you could have just as easily disregarded it all together or dismissed it with humor. You know, the whole making fun of yourself thing. But truth be told, those types of stereotypes do exist...and your post here essentially opened the door for that type of response, whether it was your intention or not.
Are there people in Alabama with missing front teeth? Of course. But just in Alabama, am I right?
One of the best, and most appropriate GIFs I've seen, especially with my over reaction. Upvote to you, sir.
I agree it was a shot below the belt, but at the same time it was a joke, and a stereotype. Let it go and unless you can tell me that there has never been a time where you've made a somewhat offensive joke then say oh well. I'm a buckeye fan, and when they show some of the "superfans" and talk about how we are all hill billys and do nothing with life, but live or die with Ohio State I say oh well.
All I'm saying is take a deep breath, the beers you had may be speaking now, and let it go. It was a joke and, like you said, just laugh at it.
Boy you should see Morrow County Ohio! I swear to you it is the only place I have ever seen two train cars stacked on top of each other and the people were living out of it!!! They even had the toilet planter in the front yard for decoration!!!....LOL
its not just a Bama' thing
MICHIGAN STILL SUCKS
They aren't all missing teeth...I mean I pretty sure Harvey Updyke had his teeth!
"Anything less than flagrant is just playing grab ass!"
Of course you are allowed to be offended. This is America.........you have every right to be offended and to let everyone know about it. However, it's also the right of others to do the offending.
You do realize that you are on an OSU board?.............where most people don't have much liking for Alabama or the SEC in general.
You;re right. Not everyone in Alabama is toothless. All of the barefoot hicks with overalls in Alabama have all of their teeth.
Upvote for your post, bamamike. I was just clowning a little. No offense meant.
I live in NE Ohio, and if you were to tell me that #10 lived in Amherst, Elyria, Lorain, Ridgeville, etc.; I'd have no reason to doubt you. (except then the #10 would have been a Kordell Stewart jersey)
I'd like to apologize for my reaction to the ribbing you gave me. Not that it's an excuse, but I was in a vodka-fueled pity party about the way the Bama game played out. Look at the score and it looks like a beat down, but having seen the game, it was anything but.
Being from the south and living up north, I've actually been treated like shit from select people and talked over because they actually believe that people from the south are all like Forrest Gump, so I sometimes have a hair trigger on getting upset. Wasn't fair to you, so my apologies as well!
He kind of looks like mike brown. The coach for the Cavs
How Firm Thy Friendship....
IMO, looks a little like
1st off: I don't really get the GIF at all. What is the point? I see nothing even interesting or humorous there.
Secondly, BAMAMIKE is a very good and respectful dude. The tooth comments should be reserved strictly for Michelin fans.
Two blondes were driving to Disneyland. The sign said: Disneyland Left... So they started crying and headed home.
Ah, the GIF was an actual reaction in the crowd after that long ass run right up the middle. That dude was trying to process what just happened, and it's just an example of what happens when your team is on a good run and you are under the impression they're invincible. It's the ridiculous attitude that A LOT of Alabama fans have. We expect to win all of our games, and championships every year, it's just how it goes. It's a ridiculous way of thinking, I just thought it was funny they caught it on camera.
Are you worried about Bama's offense? 14 points against a young VaTech team that was battling injuries coming into the game wouldn't get me too excited.
Yes and no. 90% of that crappy performance was an inexperienced offensive line. We've been pretty spoiled to an all american line, just dind't realize HOW spoiled until last night.
Luckily, we have an off week before the A&M game. Saban said in his presser that "at least we know where we're at and what we have to work on" or something to that effect. If I hadn't seen the A&M game earlier, I'd be more concerned. Rice ran for over 300 yards on them, they looked awful agains the run, especially getting a push at the line of scrimmage. I think with the week off to fix problems, the fact A&M looked so bad, and the fact that the Bama players want to repay A&M from that loss last year, I Think we'll be okay.
I just hope they plant the douchebag into the dirt 5 or 6 good times during that game. It's hard to talk shit when you're on your back.
I was watching the game right when that happened and flashed back to Biabwhateverthehellhis name was. Very similar response, only with extensive profanity
I really wish I could find a picture -- someone had to have screen-capped it somewhere -- of a chubby, middle-aged LSU fan during the LSUvTCU game who was wearing a LSU helmet and had a sad look on his face. One of the single funniest things I've ever seen. Even the play-by-play guys couldn't stifle a laugh at him.
It reminds me of a Kicker last, I believe it was South Carolina or Arkansas? That was wearing glasses under his helmet. SEC football man, SEC football. You're a different sort of folks down there hahah.
It was funny because he had a button up shirt on and kahkis and that stupid helmet on. Like he just got off work at the bank, grabbed his helmet and ran out the door.
The way that guy just turns his head and looks at the others is priceless. Thanks for posting the gif.
I honestly thought he turned around because dude was chomping his gum real effing loud. Look at it again, why does he give him the most evil look ever. Maybe he was happy and not letting it bother him until that long TD run then he decides enough is enough. Mouth open and chomping gum can get you killed these days, Specially when Bamas giving up 80 yard TD runs.
A wise man once said "success is not final and failure is not fatal"
My favorite part of the reaction is where he looks down, at the start. He's thinking: "That was a long run.... but Alabama was playing defense.... and they ran the ball right at us.. *does not compute... does not compute" What?"
Reading your comment, that dude WAS wearing that gum out. I THINK, however, that he was looking up at the replay screen, judging by where he was in the Georgia Dome. They have big ones above the lower deck at each end. Regardless of what he was looking at, it was great. Good catch by the camera man.
