Team Theme: COME ALL WITHOUT, COME ALL WITHIN
Year four of the mighty Quinn project finds Buffalo taking positive baby steps under HC Jeff Quinn. The hope this season is the return of 17 starters, including a two-headed quarterback (Joe Licata and Alex Zordich) and its leading wide receiver and running back, will carry Buffalo on through to its first winning campaign since Turner Gill roamed the sidelines in 2008. The addition of former Illinois head coach Lou Tepper as defensive coordinator paid immediate dividends last season, especially in the second half of the season when the Bulls surrendered just 326 YPG. A tough schedule finds them taking on seven winning teams in 2013. That could prove difficult, as our stat below indicates.
Stat You Will Like: The Bulls are 2-17 SU versus .500 or greater foes under Jeff Quinn.
Next week will be game preparations. 10 more days!!!!!I'm sorry i'm just excited of the possibilities for year #2 Under Urban Meyer.
*** I think we win going away and i could see Buffalo scoring 1 TD and and 3 field goals. 10 points from 2 unforced turnovers. Some young players have the jitters first time in The Shoe. I see Meyer testing Basil and he doesn't disappoint hitting 4/5 field goals, 5/5 PAT's TOSU 49 SUNY-Buffalo 16 they end up with only 153 yards total offense while TOSU has 520 total yards offense. Chris Carter gets a safety on 3 & 10 on their goal line. I love me some "Big Uglies". Game is never close.Jordan Hall has 90 yards total and 2 TD's Braxton goes 14/18 180 yards 2 TD's passing 1 running 12 carries 100 yards. The Back Up Defense holds Buffalo to one field goal in the 2nd half. Notice they are happy about ONLY giving up 326 YPG. People would be calling for Fickel to step down. Braxton only plays the first half.Devin Smith has 7/138 1 td.
