So I was reading some stuff about how Bama's schedule was really not much more difficult than tOSU's this year and kind of passed it off as a bit of Buckeye fans looking at things through their scarlet and grey glasses. But i just pulled up Bama's schedule to look for myself and good gollie miss mollie.
Georgia STATE(just in case anyone might confuse them with the Bulldogs)
So how many games on there can really be considered quality competition? By my count its 4. V. Tech, A&M, LSU and Miss State. Cupcakes? Auburn, Chatt, Arkansas, Kentucky, Colorado State, Georgia State. Teams with a pulse but not much else? Tennessee, Ole Miss
Compare that to tOSU by the same standard of measure. Michigan, Wisky, Northwestern, S.D. State. Easy games with Buffalo, Florida A&M, Purdue(I know I know) Illinois, Indiana(yes I know, but if auburn and arkansas are being considered easy games to be fair these need to be lumped in there as well) and Cal(i really really want to put this in the teams who can fight back section). Teams who might be able to fight back? Iowa and Penn State. So when you really break these two schedules apart I don't really think there is a great difference in SoS. I am not saying tOSU is as good as Bama, just that the idea that Bama is running some insane Gauntlet to get to the Nat. Championship this year and tOSU has the easiest schedule of everyone in the country is a bit ridiculous.
