I just watched (again) highlights of our own EzE and those of TTUN's Derrick Green. According to most recruiting services Green was the higher rated recruit, but I just don't see it. Green seems to run straight up, meaning he doesn't keep his weight/shoulders low and forward. His highlights are full of runs right up the gut for seven or eight yards before he is dragged down. No cuts or elusiveness. He's a big dude, and I'm sure he'll get bigger and will be well coached, but I like EzE much more. That cat can flat out fly! He runs with a lot of power, throws a pretty good stiff arm, can hit the hole quickly, and keeps his weight forward. His highlight reel is full of long runs up the gut or on the outside, and shifty cuts that are jaw dropping. He appears light in his feet, but runs strong and with a purpose!
Has anyone else made similar observations?
Both seem to be the right
fight fit for style of offense, but I think we have the better back.
