If I had to pick teams that are a bit under-the-radar for this upcoming season, I'm going with:
Marshall will put up big time #'s on offense, and may creep into the top 25. Phil Steele has them as his "#1 Surprise Team", fwiw.
Wake Forest welcomes back their senior QB, senior RB, and senior/leading WR. They return just about every starter. Their offense was bad last year, but it will improve.
TCU will bounce back after a pretty average season last year. They are a team that could be in the top 10 by season's end.
Also, keep an eye on: Oklahoma State, Arizona, Northern Illinois, Toledo, Ohio, and Bowling Green. These 6 teams will each win at least 8 games each. Check back later to see how these results pan out.
