PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
It never gets old, does it
He literally took medicine that he was prescribed to take for strep throat. This is just another one of the NFL's ass-backwards rules. It's not like homeboy was chugging codeine with Lil Wayne, his doctor gave him a prescription for the codeine cough syrup, and he took it.
Yeah this is just ridiculous.
The NFL is just dumb.
~Because we couldn't go for three~
This is what happens when an entity tries to police everything. It ends up punishing people for petty offenses like taking a prescribed medication.
If it's Brown, flush it down!
"Because I couldn't go for 3"
Should make him more easily attainable in my fantasy drafts...
But on a more serious note, this is pretty damn ridiculous. a guy gets sick, takes prescription meds and gets fined and suspended? My only question is...don't the browns have a medical staff and team doctor? Shouldn't this have been something they would have caught, seeing as how they know what is prohibited by the NFL? Either way, this should be a non issue. Dude has a legit script from a doctor. Get over yourselves NFL. There's far bigger things to worry about than something this minor.
