They have seemed content with the addition of Texas A&M and Mizzou. However, I am surprised they wouldn't want to take a serious look at a school like Cincinnati. It would improve their all important "foot print" and expand even more access to Ohio. Ohio television markets and recruiting would boost any conference. The SEC would then have teams in 4 of the top 5 college football states in Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Ohio.
Is it really the cold weather argument? I find that a rather weak argument considering they have UK, Vandy, and Tenn. Those are not the warmest places.
Dated facilities? One year of SEC Network money and bowl money would fix that problem.
Not Nationally competitive? UK, Vandy, MIZZOU, Ole Miss, & Miss St
The SEC in the B1G's back yard would be a big problem.
