Lots of buzz and information on our great 2013 class, Apple Burroughs, Conley, Worley, Bell, but have heard next to nothing on the 2012 DB class, Najee Murray, Armani Reeves, Devan Bogard, and Tyvus Powell. How are they recovering from injuries. How are they progressing in Coach Mick's regime, are they bigger, taller, faster??? Transfer rumors? Come on EW, what's the news?

I would guess that news would start becoming available as soon spring practice starts in the coming week. Believe me, if those updates were available, you'd find them on 11w somewhere.
Considering not even the coaches have had access to them, one would say that there is no news to report. The LBs looked fairly shredded in a recent pic, but I haven't seen much DB related.
Hearing good things on Reeves. Also hearing full recoveries expected for Murray and Bogard. Expect all three to compete for time this year.
I think Powell is moving to safety from corner, but I don't see him ever being a starter here. Could be completely wrong, but as things stand, I just don't see it.
While we're on the subject, does anyone see a chance that Griffin gets the spot opposite Roby. I've been impressed with his effort and attitude, just not sure he has the physical tools.
I think it would be awesome if Griffin were good enough to start at OSU (for obvious reasons), but as you stated, I don' know that physically he is talented enough to start at corner at OSU. At least compared to the other candidates at CB. But I suppose stranger things have happened.
With respect to Griffin and his lineage, I don't want to see a kid listed at 5'8'' starting at corner. Let Michigan play that risky game.
^agreed. and even hoke and mattison seemed to figure out it's a risky move, since all but a few of their DB offers are 5'11" and up, with the only exceptions being d'ande payne talent level kids. not that payne ends up in the B1G, but at least they're picking up on it.
I have said it about a million times before and I will say it again - barring injuries, Doran Grant will start opposite Roby. Last year Coombs stated he basically had three starting corners. Roby, Howard, and the third being Grant. I don't see any reason to believe Grant will let someone jump him.
Agreed. But hopefully someone will push him.
not part of the 2012 db's but just talked with jamie wood not long ago and he is still a part of the team and is working on getting his strength back this offseason from surgery last season.....he has 1 year left and could very well take johnson's star spot from last year.....
I loved Wood coming out of HS. I would be ecstatic if he was able to make a major contribution this year.
I have class with him and he seems like a nice kid. It would be pretty cool to see him get some time on the field this year.
Thought Jamie Wood transfered
"Get him a body bag, Yeah!"
I think there was speculation of him transferring at one point but he's sticking around
