I was thinking, earlier, about how it seems like last year around this time Stonum had just been booted and Furman was accused of some crap with his girlfriend. I think Storm Klein and maybe another was in the news.
I was thinking how nice it is that these kids are behaving this year and this and that...but I didn't want to post anything, as not to jinx it. I guess we'll have to wait and see what this is about, but it was nice while it lasted.

Looking at the Channel 6 website, one of the featured stories is the Steubenville case. My guess is that is what the story is about. If there was any news about actual Ohio State players my guess is that we would already know about it.

Hate seeing that type of crap happening no matter what team the players play for. If they did do bad things then they should be charged. Better not be another Duke style made up crap.....hate hearing when false accusations are made.
Well it says one of the players left team last week so that is Sa'Vonn Pittman. Question is who are the other 2? If this is true and they did do it they have to go no questions asked. But again it has to be proven. If this is another Duke style made up situation then that is not good either because it ruins reputations and that is hard to overcome for the rest of your life. Only time will tell. But this is not good considering UFM has us on a serious roll recruiting wise and coming off a 12-0 season.
Because they wouldn't let me go for 3!

The situation is a little confusing to me. From what I can gather it sounds like:
Guy #1 - Invited the girl back to his room, made out with her (this I would assume was consensual); Doesn't seem to know what happened in the bathroom with Guy #2 and the girl.
Guy #2 - Forced the girl to perform oral sex on him in the bathroom (this would obviously be illegal, and should result in jail time if found to be true)
Guy #3 - No clue if he was even in the room at the time?
^I'm not sure how that would be handled legally? Would all three be subject to criminal prosecution (Guy #1 and #3 as onlookers/accomplices)? Or just Guy #2?
It will have to be a wait and see type of thing but if true than it makes me sick.

Rape is such a brutal crime. I have zero respect for any man who forces himself sexually upon another without consent. False accusation of such a brutal crime is almost as bogus. The he said/she said aspect of the accused situation needs to be figured out, by law enforcement. I know I'll have strong angry feelings towards the guilty party (false accusation, raper). I guess we'll have to wait to know.

If you watch the video you can clearly see Kyle Dodson's name listed on the warrant.
You can also see another person's name on the warrant in that picture as well, sadly. Why they would include a picture of the warrant is beyond me.

I know we all really want to know the specifics and who was involved but let's stop throwing names out there until the facts come out. Obviously Dodson and Pittman look implicated but I have seen nothing that should warrant Spence being brought up. I just don't like to see kids get mud slung on them when they don't deserve it. Lets just wait til we get more info.

Pittman is gone and Dodsons name was on the report. That is the only facts known so far. Anything else is speculation.

That was the most unprofessional piece of journalism I have ever seen. That is absolutely appalling that they use a picture with Kyle Dodson's name on the report.
Edit: To clarify: if there are three players allegedly involved, they essentially just only told one of the names while keeping the anonymity of the other two (we can guess Pittman but my point stands).
Also, lets try not to speculate or guess who the third potential player might be. It is very disrespectful to that player and is not to be taken lightly. As a 20 year old kid, how horrible would it to be to hear that fans of the university that you have decided to spend the next four years of your life, are guessing that you are the potential accomplice in a rape accusation. Show some class Buckeye Nation and let the truth unfold.
