this is crazy spring football and our buckeyes are back on the field. I just have a question about big diesel washington. Is he going to play DT or more DE. I know he lined up alot at DT last year so i was just wondering, I know we have Spence as a LE but i thought diesel would play RE. Thanks buck fans!

RE I don't see him playing inside much with Bennett back this yr and end is his more natural spot.

You'll likely see him more on the interior, and likely on passing downs. With the LEO/Viper swaps, you'll see him on the outside on blitzing downs (when the end/LB stands up). Mike Bennett is more suited for SSDE than Washington.
you can't give Adolphus 2 nicknames in the same name. Its either Adolphus "Diesel" Washington or Adolphus "big dawg" Washington. Only the greats can have multiple nicknames, ala Babe Ruth. He will be there one day but for now, lets keep it to Diesel.
the notes from Tuesday say he is starting at DE with Bennett at the 3 technique and Hale/Schutt battling for the 1 technique. Starting he will be at end but much like the others have said, during games he will move around because of his amazing physical size and speed.
I actually do hope he stays at end because that means the others stepped up at tackle and also means that he could potentially be a Clowney type of pass rusher. He has the same stature as Clowney so I think I am pretty close in comparing them if he does what we all expect him to. Heck, after last year, he really doesn't have to do much to get there.
