He was very good at times, and very average at times. Hopefully he lands on the right team with a good O-Line and QB that can help him out a little bit.
Hmmm - Beanie in a Bengals uni would be nice. Platoon with the Lawfirm would be a nice fit.
Hey, I would take him in tandem with Jamaal Charles in KC. He would fit in real well. And if he gets injured, by that time Charles will be in form to take the whole workload.
Ready to see Beanie with a new start, fully healthy, behind a decent o-line and QB. I think he still has plenty of tread on the tires.

Please Lord BENGALS please.
Downside is they would probably cut Boom to add him.
Nothing like dancing on the field in 02...
If Beanie's health can hold up, and he finds a team that knows how to use him, I think he can still make some noise in the NFL.
Wouldn't mind seeing Beanie has a compliment back to Trent Richardson.
I know this won't be popular on here, but I would looooove to see Beanie in a Steelers uniform next season. We need another solid RB, assuming he can stay healthy. He's my favorite OSU running back.

Boooooooooooo hahaha
Haaa...well, according to this thread - he seems destined to be playing for one of the gritty AFC North teams next season

Preach on, Brother - this would be great news.
rooting for him to go somewhere he could have success shouldn't be unpopular
I read somewhere the Browns were interested in signing Shonn Greene. I would much rather take a flyer on Beanie; hopefully he can stay healthy enough to spell T-rich for a few plays a game and the occasional spot start if Trent is banged up.
Brady Hoke's reaction to the Urban Meyer hire: "Not good."
They must be cutting for $. Because he wasn't the worst thing on that team.
Wherever you are, there you be!
Beanie and the Jets...you heard it here first.

Thank you Elton John.
"Buh, Buh, Buh, Beanie and the Jets."
Best back-up in the league 2013-2014. Take it to the bank.
Steelers need a running back.
Yeah, I heard the Cardinals are interested in Mendenhall. So, maybe there will be the old RB switch-a-roo.
Mendenhall is just awful. The Cardinals basically had the worst O-line in the league the last couple years. Beanie still has a few good years left in him and I think Pittsburgh could be where he ends up.
There seems to be mutual interest as Beanie sent a tweet out to the
Steelers CB William Gay asking if he had a spare room...may have been half kidding but beanie's running style does fit in there. HERE WE GO STEELERS!
So the Steeler's would lose one RB who got hurt all the time with another? I love Beanie, but I just don't think his body is strong enough to sustain a full season in the NFL. I'd love to see him stay healthy and be a big part of a great team somewhere, I just won't hold my breath that he'll actually stay healthy.
Miami maybe too?
I would love if he went to the Patriots. Him behind our O-Line along with Brady, Ridely and Woodhead.
I like to believe that my best hits border on felonious assault.

No...then I would have to hate him forever.
Good call Buckman
One place that might not be far fetched is Beanie going to the San Diego Chargers. His former head coach, Ken Whisenhunt, is the OC there now. That and the Chargers are looking for a complimentary back for Ryan Matthews.
I saw it flash across the screen this morning and wasn't overly shocked by this news. It's unfortunate, but they've had horrible QB play and an underachieving offensive line. Any RB, particularly those with a North/South game, is doomed for failure behind that combination. Hopefully he stays in the NFC so I don't have to route against him on occasion.
I think he would do good with the Colts (who passed on him in the draft for UCONN RB Donald Brown). We need a good runner with some hands. Unfortunately, the Colts like to build their team through the draft.

I agree! I would love to see him on the Colts.
Or, on the Packers.
However, both teams like to build through the draft.
I draft Beanie every year in Fantasy knowing it will be his breakout year.
It can happen.
NC Buckeye.
Keep on believing my friend! I believe I might have picked him up on waivers a few times this year.
He had some good games when my starters were injured or on byes.
I have done so as well. Ive been called a fool, repeatedly!
This year, i drafted him, held on to him while he was hurt, and i think i got one good game at the end of the year, when it was too late!
And Ill draft him again!
Go Bengals!!

Any word on Teddy Ginn's next landing spot? Heard he wants to go somewhere where he won't be underutilized. I believe Detroit is interested...again. They could use a return man and a replacement for Titus Young. I think Ginn will land in either: Detroit, St. Louis, Arizona, New Orleans, or Houston (in that order).

I would love him as a slot receiver/return guy in Tampa.
Teddy needs to come to New Orleans and catch the Brees

Teddy signed a 1 year deal with the Panthers tonight.

Packers? They haven't had a run game in years. He would get a fresh start and the majority of the carries.
Don't give up... Don't ever give up.
Teddy Ginn is in Cincinnati for a visit today
Yep..
I read that on profootballtalk.com. Hope they sign him.

I know I am going to get down voted like crazy for this, but for as big as he was, Beanie didn't run like a big power back. Even though he had a tremendous career at OSU and I loved his play against UM, he didn't reach his full potential at OSU. I thought he ran out of bounds way too many times and tended to play soft for a guy that could run through anybody. While the hurdle play was mighty impressive, I just wished he would have trucked the guy like a traditional power back. Tressel even said in an interview that he needed to "toughen up" or learn how to play through certain minor injuries. I kept hoping he would break out in the NFL, but he never really did.
