Four players arrested two for Second Degree Robbery, one for illegal concealed carry, and the last for Credit Card Fraud. With the exception of the CCW charge this will probably excite the need for players to be paid argument.
Eddie Williams, who was also a safety in high school but did not play a down at his listed position as a receiver for Alabama in 2012, was first arrested Sunday on a charge of carrying a pistol without a license.
Defensive end D.J. Pettway (second-degree robbery), and linebackers Tyler Hayes (second-degree robbery) and Brent Calloway (fraudulent use of a credit card) were arrested Monday along with Williams, according to online records from the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office.

I am very concerned about players being paid. How much is enough? Will paying players really deter this type of activity? I am firm in that players get a scholarship and a small stipend to play is enough for any student. The only change I would find that would be fair to all is that a student can go directly to the pros out of high school or spend three years in college. I think this should be for all sports including BBall. While the student is in college, he is getting a tremendous educational advantage and is able to hone his skills for football, bball, or any other sport. Money from the college is not the answer. I was one of the poor college students who had to pay every dime for books, tuition, food, and all other costs for college. While in college, you know you must sacrifice for the good of your future endeavors.
OK What do they have in common? Am I missing something here? I don't get the headline.

After the game they played against each other, which Alabama won 41-14, I'd say not much
Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates. Football is no different, the guys down in the trenches win the games, not the coach.
Man do I hate the score 41-14.
Toussaint was arrested for driving while intoxicated, not for burglary.
