Since we have a while until starting the season I figured we could start up a friendly competition to name the starting 11 offensive players and starting 11 defensive players.
-----------------------------------
The Rules:
1. It isn't based on the official depth chart, it is based on which 22 players take the field for the first defensive and offensive plays (so think about personnel packages) of the 2013 season. [edited thanks to smart@ss Squirrel Master]
2. If there is a penalty prior to the play (such as false start or delay of game) that line up won't count.
3. The winner will be the one with the most correct out of 22 and the tie breaker will be which one was submitted first.
4. One entry per person, if multiple entries are submitted, only the last one will be counted as final (remember this could hurt your tie breaker).
Prize:
I don't work for 11W so I can't offer anything, but I'll upvote your entry.
-----------------------------------
I'll bump this post at various points during spring practice and over the summer, but remember the longer you wait the more likely someone will have submitted a similar lineup before you.

"I'll upvote your entry."
SOLD!! You had me at upvote.
I'm in:

Edit: I'm not sure if there are going to be a lot of realistic permutations. Mine looks similar to the first projection.
You might be right, but we lost 6 of the front 7 and one DB (two if you count the Star spot) so there are a lot of open spots. And offense is driven by packages, we could start the season five wide, or put 3 rbs in a loaded pistol, so there are a few to make it interesting. Plus there are some people who think some freshmen will be starting from day one, so we'll see what some of those people put out there.

(I have no clue if Buffalo runs a spread but I wish I could say I knew and that's my reasoning for not including 3 LB's)
Could include specialists too. But by camp the 2 deep will be public, so...

Go Bucks!
I like football
Reminds me of Duke's bball starting 5: Plumlee, Plumlee, Plumlee, Plumlee, and Plumlee
I think Duke has a Plumlee Tree outside Cameron...anytime Coach K (the rat) needs a big man he tells his assitant "Go water the Plumlee tree"...by the next year a freshman Plumlee is ripe for the picking.

NOOOOO!!! The BauserBomb memories were starting to fade.
That was such a depressing night, but this does make me laugh. Couldn't hit any WR's, but sure as shit could throw it further than the T-shirt launcher according to this chart.
I laughed really hard at that picture- made my day, thanks
The postgame show is brought to you by... Christ, I can't find it. The hell with it...

*You didn't specify this year. I win!
Haha, you get a +1 despite not being eligible to win this year, unless 2 is all you need...
Sorry bud.
Ginn didn't have half the receptions his teammate M Jenkins had.
Wilkinson in front of Stillwagon?
And Roby is an all timer now? Based on one almost-great 9 game season?
Did I say all-timer? nope.
I just picked names off the top of my head for players who I think would have started over the current roster. I could have put last years starting team to prove my point but I went with bigger names to add to the fun.
Just players who have started, not going to argue who was better.
EDIT: I would have thought more people would have had a bigger issue with B. Rolle. He is hardly an all-timer although he is one of my favorites.
Terry Glenn over both.
I'll take Springs over Roby. He was that good.
Rob Sims? Are you his brother?

Hey Riggins, just a heads up you only have 10 players listed for offense. Thought I'd let you know because if it were me I'd want someone to let me know.

and there has to be a Boren or it wouldn't be OSU football post 2000.
For reals!
Since Urban used a 3/1/1 offense starting last year, I will use that. They may play nickel more than not, but I think the starting lineup in game 1 will be a standard 4-3.
