Earlier in the post about Johnny D(ouche) Hodge said this:
I wish that both Michigan and Ohio State would put up statues of Woody and Bo outside their respective stadiums. Perhaps have grads of each school design their respective university's statue, but place them both right outside the main gate of each stadium. The history of both men are so intertwined, they deserve to be immortalized together--companion pieces in history, a metaphor for the rivalry they so intensely fueled.
A statue based on this photograph would be stellar:
And I thought to myself, that would be pretty F'N awesome if we had something like that at both The Shoe and The Big House -- and If not a statue, maybe a plaque or something? And where would it go in our stadium? So since I had some free time at work, I decided to throw this together in honor of these two great men. Hope you all enjoy it!!

Love! +1
People get so many petitions for some ridiculous stuff...this shouldn't be difficult, at all.
Even if it didn't happen until 2019, the 50th anniversary of start of The Ten Year War.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

Glad you liked it Hail, I really admire both men. Men with that kinda fortitude are rare these days outside of the armed services.
"Leave...Your...Mark..."
Cool for sure! Would love to see that.
Great idea and classy. Hope someone is connected and can pull it off. We can never forget these two icons or their contribution to college sports.
Let's don't forget both Woody & Bo are from the Great State of OHIO, and even if Bo was the coach from TSUN, his was a Buckeye 1st.
Like the idea but NOT in the rotunda
Actually, it's perfect to put it in the rotunda given that the rotunda is already adorned with blue & yellow flowers, as M*ch*g*n won the stadium's dedication game. Another piece of the storied rivalry to remember for the ages.
Definitely a great idea.
This is awesome. We should forward it to Archie and/or Gene Smith.
Edit: NOT Gene Smith - he'll F it up
Great idea. Would love to see 11W champion this.
p.s. in the first paragraph, the comma should be placed after "Bo", not after "coaches"...(probably just a typo)
At the risk of sounding soft I think it would be a good idea to put the plaque in both locker rooms with an emphasis in the narrative toward sportsmanship (given the tone of the image).
Since the image most in the media, etc... present when the words "Woody" and "sportsmanship" are used in the same sentence (Bauman), immortalizing the above image as the lasting image of Woody would not only be a great idea, it would be necessary to accurately preserve his legacy for posterity.
Great idea!
