He visited this weekend a picture was posted of him with Kitt on Kitts page. How was his visit. I believe he is a must get in this class. He is a complete ball hawk, and hits like a ton of bricks. His film is amazing. He is my early club house leader as the best saftey on our board.

I have a friend who is a UT fan and he keeps saying that. Kelly is good friends with Vonn Bell... I believe we could steal this kid.

"Lock to go to Knoxville" is what they said about Vonn Bell as well, for the record haha. Vol fans think everyone's a Vol-lock.

Vonn Bell was supposed to be a Vols lock too.......Kelly is a player who everyone on the opposing team is going to feel they need to know where he is..........He's a defensive difference maker

Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates. Football is no different, the guys down in the trenches win the games, not the coach.

Which Vol insider confirmed Kelly as a lock? Skeeter, Goober, Buford, or Rooster? All four are probably pretty legit sources. They work their magic through a viable internet connection, a steady mix of ignorance and confidence, and plenty of Krystal sliders.

I'm surprised ESPN hasn't scooped these guys up for the 'VolNation' insider site.

Personally I think Quin Blanding is head and shoulders the best safety in the class, but I'd love to get Kelly

Trudat. Blanding may not be the raw athlete that this kid is, but he is smart as hell and hits to make it hurt.

I've never seen a safety's tape quite like Blanding. I would hazard to say he's more college ready than most, if not all, of the 2013 prospects, including guys like Vonn Bell, and Tony Connor. Blanding not only sees the field like the best of them, his measurables are crazy, and he's just an amazing athlete. He was one of the juniors that went to a number of Nike/ESPN summer camps and absolutely shut down some of the top receivers who were mostly older than Blanding. I think he could easily play FS, SS, field or cover corner, and probably receiver as well.

Yeah good luck getting blanding out of Virginia . That kid is a serious homer and takes little interest in the recruiting process.

He actually showed a lot of interest in OSU last summer, but that didn't seem to last. I've all but written him off as a possibility for OSU, but I still believe that he's the best safety in either class.

Unlike some recuits, Kelly hasn't tweeted anything about his visit and I believe he has yet to do an interview, so it's hard to gage just how well his visit went. I really like Kelly a lot! You might be able to tell by this thread I started on him:
