Just finished watching Dontre Wilson's ridiculous highlight reel and got to wondering what the highlights of other Ohio State backs looked like.
Preface: I know MoC still has his detractors and for those of you in that crowd, he really has taken huge steps to turn his life around.
MoC's high school highlights are just sick. For those who never saw:
I don't ever recall that guy going down with the first hit...he would bounce off tackles like no other.

Still one my favorites.
I remember tellling my fiancee, wait til aacc sees this guy running at them. Loved watching him, one of my favorite players.
He scrimmaged my HS before his senior year, my HS was preseason state ranked and MoC goes out and puts an insane stat line like 13 carries 250+ yds and 5 TDs before taking it easy for the second part of the scrimmage.
dang i didnt remember this type of speed out of him... i dont think ive ever seen a highschool highlight tape like this....ever

Just downright awesome how good maurice was.
I know he was running through some big holes there sometimes but...damn. Patience, vision, cut-backs, bounces, power and just enough speed. Total economy of effort; no excess jukes or shakes. Love it.
Not watching it. That will just remind me of how a potential back to back NC didn't happen. ;_;

I know MoC burned a ton of bridges and this clip along with really his entire freshman year was displaying raw talent, which that alone cannot cut it in the NFL...
I just kind of wonder, since he has straightened everything out, why he hasn't rose above the UFL as far as playing goes? Age wise sure he is nearing 30 but he also has a good 4-5 years of downtime where his body didn't take a beating.
The first 2/3 of the highlights were all TD's. There were some long ones in that complilation. I am thinking frickin dude was fast but where was the power that I remember. Then the last 1/3 brings on the that power. A real nice stiff arm in there, where the defender goes flat down after the ARM and just lays there snow angel style on his belly just watching MO move on. It was funny.
