Three missed opportunities and two violations...but I managed to stay eligible.
I know it's a little old, but a buddy of mine forwarded this to me after asking whether the NCAA could investigate Johnny Football's casino winnings. My buddy suggested that it would be possible (not that this actually happened) for a booster to sit down at the poker table with Johnny Football and lose hands to him on purpose, thereby funneling money to him via poker chips at a casino.
This question stems from the recent article stating that the NCAA has closed the loophole regarding allowing Johnny Manziel to collect damages regarding his lawsuit against the guy selling "Keep Calm and Johnny Football" t-shirts.
Kids will always find ways to break the rules, and the governing body will always write new rules on top of the previous ones to close the loopholes...thereby creating an endless cycle.
