Eleven Warriors

I was watching the Missouri/Florida game earlier, and All-American blogger "Iam4Mizzou" came to mind; ("Iam4Mizzou" is really a St. Louis attorney named Richard Lozano - a funny Mizzou fan, and a pretty smart guy.)

Some on here may remember this guy. But for those who don't, back in October, 11W had a funny little Buckshot ( http://www.elevenwarriors.com/buckshot/2012/10/firepinkelcom ), featuring www.FirePinkel.com, which is owned by Lozano. He also owns, (or owned), the rights to http://missouritigers.com/blog.php, which is not working anymore.

Under that first link, you can see some of the internet gold he's posted - which unfortunately isn't up anymore on the missouritigers site, but I copied & pasted some of his stuff on that Buckshots piece.

But, after I found that missouritigers.com is not working anymore, I searched "Iam4Mizzou" and came across this gem of a story. Apparently Lozano beat the University of Missouri to the punch a while back and is the original owner of the domain: missouritigers.com. Well, the U of M threatened to sue him, and it's a long story. But, now I think he finally sold the website or the legal process has taken place, because it's not up anymore. Anyways, in that article I found a letter to the University of Missouri which Lozano published. He demanded $50k in addition to the following terms (yes, this is real life) for the rights to his domain name:

■I get to take a half court shot at a men's basketball game for absolutely no reason.

■I get to drive the Mizzou helmet car through campus recklessly and will run over a variety of bushes in a wanton fashion.

■I will get a gold star with Iam4Mizzou on it on a bathroom stall at Faurot. "
