If you could change one loss to Ttun to a win in football what year would it be? I would change the '97 game so that we ruin their undefeated season, their Co National Championship, and possibly Charles Woodson's Heisman! The loss that year was the hardest to endure (at least for me) because they had ruined all of those things (except Eddie's Heisman) for us in '95 and '96! How sweet it would have been to do the same to them! Damn you John Cooper, Stanley Jackson, Marcus Ray, and Charles Woodson!

I figure the 95 and 96 games are going to their (deserving) due, I'm going with the 91 game. Because f@ck Desmond Howard.

Has to be '96. Our boys would have been in the driver's seat for a National Championship!
It's hard to pick just one, but 1969 would probably top my list. A win there would have potentially let tOSU go wire to wire #1 that year and for Woody have a three-peat of National Championships and I believe a 32 game winning streak.
2003. There was a shot at going to another National Championship games.
The whole "What if MoC had played that season" pops in my head every now and then.

+1, we beat them we end of playing for our second straight, and winning it.
Either 98 Michigan State or the 1992 basketball game against UM in the Elite 8. I'm still not over either of those losses.
I'm with you. I know the thread is about TTUN, but that '98 Michigan State game still hurts.

I am going to be the odd man out and say 2011. That would make the streak 9 in a row, would have kept UM out of the Sugar Bowl and would have been a better way to end that awful season which must be washed from our memories.
That is my choice also.
I'm going with 1995. Eddie's Heisman year capped with a MNC would've been awesome. I was at that game, so I'm a little sensitive about it, but it would be nice to never hear the word "Biakabutuka" again.
Ugh! Biakabuttfucker! Ugh ugh ugh!
For me the 1996 TTUN loss is a no-brainer. How freaking talented was that team??? Pace, Big Kat as a true frosh, Vrabel, Shawn Springs, etc, etc, etc. We beat No. 2 ranked and undefeated Arizona State in the Rose Bowl. We beat TTUN we go into the Rose Bowl No. 1 or No. 2 ourselves. Beating ASU would've no doubt given us the title.

I'm inclined to say 1969, when the "Super Sophs" got humbled in Ann Arbor against Woody's old protege, Bo Schembechler. That was one of college football's all-time greats, and Bo pulled off a magnificent troll job by beating them.
