We've seen a lot of players develop into grown-ass men (as Urban would say) during their time at OSU...but every once in a while you get those more rare kids who come in/ start at OSU as a grown-ass man. Guys like the Boren brothers, John Simon and Eddie George (after he attended that prep school and got his life on track). This year after seeing several video's, it appears that Ezekiel Elliott is one of those guys. I see now why they said he was a class leader among our 2013 recruits and why he was able to help get others on board (even if he himself needed more time to decide for sure). I think the only way any kid become a man this early is due to great parents or a great mentor being around a whole lot.
I bet E is one of first, if not the very first to lose that black stripe! Welcome E!
