Good afternoon fellow Buckeye faithful!

So I was watching part of that Louisville/Florida game last night and started thinking about recruiting and how bad it's going to suck knowing that we have to wait for a few months before our beloved Buckeyes take the field again. I was particulary thinking about recruiting and how awesome it will be when we start hearing some of the expected names choosing tOSU over the next few weeks. Like many, i am totally guilty of counting my chickens before they hatch and i am worried that some of these young men may choose schools other than tOSU. So, just for the hell of it, what if our nightmare scenario played out and we only get 1 recruit out of Vonn Bell, Mitchell, Trey Johnson, Quick, Worley, Dontre Wilson and Timmons? If you can only have one, who would it be? I would have to say Mitchell, only b/c our depth and talent at MLB seems to be lacking and i really think he can step in right away.

Anyhow, i just wanted to see what everyone thought and hear your opinions. I definitely don't see this nightmare coming true, but you never know with recruiting

Mitchell, we need linebackers and I think we have 4 defensive backs committed currently. I may be wrong on this but that's what I recall.

Mitchell, particularly since Alex thinks he could come in and play at MLB from day 1 potentially. Also I think its interesting you included Ryan Timmons as a choice with these big name guys despite that he still has no offer and did not include Corn Elder.

Mitchell. Have some of the other needs fulfilled. Tavon Jacobs I believe is going to suprise some people in the slot.

Wilson- We need speed at WR and he is a burner.Know the popular choice would be Mitchell,but we just signed a big LB class last year,and we're solid with 3-5 in 2014.But you can never have enough playmakers on offense.We got the QB,RB,TE locked up.We need speed at the WR position so teams have more to worry about,and we have more options.

Vonn Bell. He is the highest rated player of the group, he is at a major need IMO plus could possible keep growing and become a LB, to keep him away from Alabama.

I agree that it is odd to put Timmons up there since there is no offer but I do believe he fits talent wise with those named. I would also like Johnson over Mitchell just because I think he is a safer bet to pan out. Mitchell has the most potential but from everything I have read he is not that instinctive despite his ability to overcome errors. Johnson just seems like a lock to one day start for whichever team he chooses.

I don't think WR is a huge need currently plus there will be so much talent coming in next year and really Marshall is enough to be satisfied at that position. Plus you left out Gibson and Elder which we know they are looking at taking at least 2 more WR. I don't see WR depth being a future issue.

Outside of Bell and a LB, I really think OL is still a bigger need than other places. There is plenty of talent but not enough depth if a rash of injuries were to happen. All I know is, for once I am not too concerned with QB depth. Guiton really proved there is at least 2 QB's capable of leading this team.
