I know this happened a couple of weeks ago ,but during the Panthers/Raiders game Cam Newton kicked the defensive tackle from the Raiders in the face and later on he chest bumps a referee. Now it was to my understanding that those actions tend to result in a suspension. My problem with this is that Suh was ejected, fined, and suspended for kicking a Packers offensive linemen, however Newton was only fined for both of his actions.

I'm not excusing Cam's bumping the ref but the Raiders were specifically going after Cam after their QB got hurt.

In which both him and said players should be suspended.

i clicked on this thinking we were still talking about while he was at Auburn hahaha. People like the guy and he's been very fortunate he hasn't fallen through the ice as often as he's skated on it.
My best guess is because he isn't a "repeat offender." Suh is a pretty dirty player from everything I have seen and with all his antics the league feels they need to punish him so he gets the point. Also, QB are allowed to get away with little things like that when they take beatings all year. Has to be frustrating being a Panthers fan after how they did last year.
