This is a very valid question by the OP imho...Treadwell looks like a top WR, there was initial interest, and it kinda just tailed off. We could definitely use a guy like him. He must've not really ever been too too interested in OSU and prob let Urban know that....otherwise, I'd bet Urban would be recruiting him currently.
He wasn't too interested after the initial visit excitement. Even when he liked OSU, we were never in his favorites discussion. He's not the type of WR that tends to run for spread offenses.
Good point, I should've been more specific. The option spread Meyer offense is not one that attracts Treadwell's type of receiver. OkieState runs a spread variation, more like a split out airraid offense, that has empirically been proven to be successful in developing some of the nation's best recievers made in a similar mold.
One way or another, laquon will be regretting his decision once he sees Urban win a couple of championships. regardless of where he ends up. 'Bama might be on top now but OSU has a steeper trajectory and longer overall staying power. Just watch and it will become apparent in the next couple years.
I think 1.8 is correct....OKst and OK run more suitable offenses for him. He was recruited but liked others...all I care is that his top three stay the same...NO tTUN please;-)

The staff would take him if he wanted in though. He's like a Julio Jones type, that third down target that will get open and make a catch every time you need him.
We did, he visited, liked it, but we didn't make much progress IIRC
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.

Even though all three of his top schools run the spread.

This would be a good question for Alex's recruiting mailbag.

We dont need another possession receiver. We need more speed guys, thats why.
