Worley Bell Gibson most likely. Sucks losing out on Quick but I think come fall we will be more than happy with Zeke and Marshall.
I'm out of the loop with Gibson. He's an Ohio kid and plays at a position of need for tOSU. Why no commitment yet?

he had a decision set but staff wouldn't accept a commitment due to grade issues. According to him, those issues have been cleared up, so it remains to be seen what happens
According to Gibson, OSU and WV are tied. We miss on Gibson and there could be a little panic mode.
No panic mode at WR. We've got a younger roster at WR, 2 commits already, and a number of recruits that remain interested.
also dont forget with the crowded backfield, i could see lining zeke up at slot wr just to get him some playing time. he is so dynamic getting him the ball in any regards would be a great thing
Don't really care what Shelton says, OSU has a big lead if they'll take them. He is putting WVU up there just in case OSU squeezes him out of the class. If grades/test scores are in order, he very well could be a Buckeye after his official this weekend.
I think we were holding his spot for Quick.

Worley, Bell, Wilson (or an OL as stated above if they can't get Dontre) and Gibson. That's one hell of a finish...I'd say. We won't be number one but number two is a possibility. USC and Bama will be hard to pass...ND and tTUN...not so much. I think the staff would like to take Elder too if there was more space...never know what may end up happening. 24 or 25 have been the # for a while...but you never know.

Not to step on Waycracken's shoes (I know this is usually his kind of thing to say), but I think I would be more than OK with Timmons. He seems like a great kid, he can FLY, oh-- and he WANTS to be a Buckeye.. So I'm hoping for Bell, Gibson, and Timmons (and then whoever else falls in line).
Remember that in the end you will be judged not by what you believed, planned or dreamed; but, by what you did.
I just saw on Twitter that Quick changed his mind after the Sugar Bowl... Best of luck to the kid, but he won't be happy when Bridgewater leaves after next year and Strong goes to the SEC. Strong only promised to stay until Bridgewater was gone.
That's a big IF for Bridgewater. He was only a sophomore, he's not a lock for the NFL after next season.

It's interesting to read others opinions outside of Ohio. This was taken from AJC (Atlanta) in interview with Vonn Bell:
Bell had a lot of nice things to say about Urban Meyer and his national championship at Florida. But he may have saved his highest praise for Nick Saban.
“Alabama … it just speaks for itself,” Bell said. They are in the national championship again. Coach Nick Saban, he’s a DB coach, and he’s going to be coaching me. So Coach Saban has got guys into the NFL, so his name speaks for himself.”

Doesn't seem like anything different than what he's been saying the whole time; 'Bama's 'Bama, they win championships and put guys in The League. The thing that AJC glossed over is that Bell's had a relationship with Meyer since day one; the AJC's statement was purely conjecture. Throw in the camps, the fact that Meyer's got the first visit, and that his coach has said that if he signed right now, it'd be for Ohio State--I like where we're sitting.

Sure there is the lure of the Bama football factory, but Meyer's no slouch for putting guys in the NFL and Bell clearly has the best relationship with Meyer.
Him and Marshall became good friends this past week so the fact that Marshall's taking his OV this weekend is crucial.

I feel like there will be a surprise commit or someone we haven't heard much about.
We should Get Gibson, Worley, Bell, and Wilson. Wilson probably doesn't leave Oregon now that Chip Kelly stays. Bell is the highest rated guy left and its probably 50/50 between us and bama. We lost the last 50/50 with quick, hopefully the odds will tilt in our favor this time.

The Rapping Bum thinks that Gibson, Worley and Ryan Timmons will be in this class. Maybe an OL, like Skipper.

does anybody else think we take Gibson and Worley because we need them, then see if we can flip Wilson but if not bank the schollys for 2014? that class is loaded and we are sitting very nicely with a lot of top 50 players. I say don't offer somebody just to fill an open spot. look at A&M this year. bad bad class for 2012 but because they had so many open spots they can now take 35+ commits for this class.
I don't think we need Worley. I think the staff takes him because they see a real talent there, which is why they've pursued him for such a long time. I think they take Worley and Gibson if grades are ok, Bell if he wants in, maybe an OL (Hunt/Skipper/Wiesman), and Wilson isn't an option anymore.
I guess I'd say don't take another oline if it's not somebody who is going to contribute during his time here. if he's not good enough than don't waste a scholly that could go to a top 50 player next year. I'd hate to have to pass on a Derrick green again next year because of numbers.
probably not the popular sentiment here but i agree with you...take the sure things (Gibson and Worley) and go all out for Bell. If we don't get him bank that scholly and the other 1-3 for a loaded 2014 class. We have addressed our biggest need already for 2013, which was LB.

I think it will be interesting to see where Meyer recruits the hardest for 2014. oline was big problem 2012, linebackers 2013, what's coming for 2014?
What about these kids from Florida that recently decommited? I know there was an OL who is injury plagued, and then i saw that Jacoby Brissett and and RB recently committed. We are pretty good at QB and RB right now, but does anyone know if Meyer has any interest? I can see us getting Worley, Gibson and hopefully Bell, but with the last spot or 2 could we possibly snatch up someone who is transferring but already graduated, ala the Wisconsin way? Personally i think that we should bank an extra scholly for 2014 with all the studs that have OSU near the top of their list, but if we HAD to take another 1-2 players, I guess i wouldn't mind getting an O lineman that may only be here for a year but could help with depth.
Staff, is there anyone on the OSU radar that may fit this category? The only one i could think of is guy from Florida.
