Man that game was amazing. Just an emotional roller coaster. I was ready to vomit from nerves and run through a wall simultaneously for like 4 straight hours.
Forgot Troy Smith was on that team, somehow.
Was that Santonio Holmes wearing like #15 towards the end?
During that game, and to this day, I'm not convinced that play with Gamble wasn't actually a fumble. But I don't really care since what they called is all that matters.
I remember always wanting us to wear the whites after that game since they were good luck. Uh, thanks for ruining that for me, 41-14.
That defense was the best we'll ever see, I'm convinced. Laced with next level talent.
When told OSU set school record for 50+ games this year, UFM said "That's good. We're gonna break that next year."
That couldn't have happened. ESPN and Ken Dorsey gauranteed a Hurricanes victory that day.
Yet it did.
And, I've said it a million times before....for those who claim the "phantom" interference call on Gamble was the only reason we won, there was a HUUUUGE no-call on an obvious pass interference/hold on Gamble with about 2:30 left that would have sustained our drive and likely not even allowed Miami to get that last field goal to tie. Straight up, the best D in the country kept in check the electric Miami offense who's average scoring drive time for the SEASON was like 1:40, and it shouldn't even have gone to OT.
Those are great memories that will never be forgotten. I still get goose bumps hearing Tress say that comparison with tbdbitl....miss that guy.

I watched this game at my buddies' apartment on the corner of 12th and Indianola. I was so high strung(and drunk) I took a swing at my buddy that was dogging OSU after every play in the 2nd half. Walking around campus that night was absoulutely awesome!
Our honor defend we will fight to the end for Ohio..
