Forget the AP voters - Vegas knows what they are talking about.......

It's interesting that Florida is less likely than South Carollina. I probably would have SC at 30:1 like UM.
It always comes up in threads like this, but I guess I'll be first to say that Vegas is not predicting who will win the championship. They are predicting who people are willing to bet will win the championship.
Yep. It's says nothing of what the oddmakers think will happen. But it does give us an indication of what the sports betting crowd think will happen, since it is thier minds the oddsmakers are trying to read and their bets the odds will move on.
Yes - good point. It is interesting the amount of separation between the top three and the next grouping.
They want to balance the "book". It tends to end up being a good predictor vs the spread but I rather win the game.
Why would people bet on South Carolina to win the championship? They didn't look all that great through the season when Lattimore went out. I'd much rather pick Florida, and I find it hard to believe other people wouldn't pick them first, as well.
It's likely because UF has to South Carolina and LSU on the road and UGA at a neutral site.
I still think UF is more likely to win than South Carolina. I actually like the gamecocks but the gators are in better shape to win a NC in my opinion. I'm just surprised that vegas thinks this is the way people are going to bet.
I don't see how. Florida has @Miami, @LSU, @SC, @Missouri(they might be better next season) and FSU.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Oregon's odds subject to change depending on if they run into a good defense.
Class of 2010.
