Rivals has a Midwest recruiting story up on their home page that, among other Ohio/Ohio State related things, talks about Ty Isaac and that he may be waivering in his commitment to USC. According to Josh Helmholdt he has mentioned Ohio State, Michigan and Notre Dame. Surprising news to me. I wonder if the coaches are actively pursuing him?

I wouldn't be surprised if all of Kiffin's recruits took off.
A kid who is committed to A&M I believe tweeted that "Lane Kiffin is doing some shady stuff at USC and the 13 recruits need to be careful". That is paraphrasing, but I can't see Kiffin being employed too much longer. I can't embed the tweet because I am at work, but if somebody has it please throw it up here.
Any ideas on what Kiffin could be doing out there to trigger that tweet? I heard about some shady stuff regarding a recruit that had been committed since the summer but was turned away when he tried to enter early, but later heard that it had more to do with one of their senior players not graduating in the winter as previously expected so the scholly was not availible..
I wonder what else could be going on? No way a program on probation would be ballsy enough to pay off recruits.
Thoughts?
Time and change will surely show how firm they friendship... O-HI-O.
He told an early enrollee that he couldn't enrol early about a week before school started...for starters
That is what I was referring to in my previous comment.
That also seems to be somewhat of an isolated incident between that particular player and the coaching staff. They are currently bleeding recruits. There's something bigger... more widespread going on at SC.

I agree but that move was just a simple example of the scum bag that is Lane Kiffin
There's an ESPN story about the brawl in the USC locker room that ensued after their loss to GA Tech in the bowl game....clearly he has complete control of his program.
On a different note...I can't remember the kids name, but he was a WR from the same OH high school as Diesel Washington I believe, he went to Oregon, thinking he might wish he followed his old teammate down the road to the Shoe??
Dwayne Stanford
Champions Bleed Scarlet & Gray
I think you're thinking of Dwayne Stanford. They both went to Taft. And yes, he did go to Oregon.
Yeah you have to think there is a bigger issure going on there than just Kiffin trying to stay at 75. I think he's lost the confidence of his team and these recruits are hearing about it from them firsthand.
In any case this kid is super-talented and would love to see him here but I imagine Zeke would be pissed if he did come. Considering the staff has told him repeatedly they were only taking one RB. But can you pass on this kid if he wants to join this class?
We told Green that we can't take him... Why would it be any diff w/ Isaacs?
Let's get a Cravens decommit. Then we wouldn't have to worry about what Vonn Bell wants to do.
Weird. ND already has a 5 star rb, and folson, so i don't see that, although i know he liked them early. UM seems close to finishing with green, and they have smith. He's a great talent, but i don't see us taking him...these last couple weeks could be completely insane, even by recruiting standards! Kiffin is an absolute piece of trash

Not to split hairs, but since Cravens has already enrolled, he'd have to be released from his NLOI or transfer.
Would love to have Isaac. The guy moves pretty damn well for a big fella.
he definitely does, but from what i saw of him in his all american game (can't remember if it was under armour or army), he didn't break many tackles. i imagine being 6'3" makes it hard to lower your pad level and absorb hits to keep moving. he needs to add another 20 pounds of muscle before he can really make use of the truck stick. he has a similar build to jalen hurd, if a bit slower-looking on his highlights. would not turn down either
not sure why theyd go after Isaac instead of Green if they wanted another RB in the class...much more impressed with Green
They may go after Isaac and not Green if one Isaac is better? Two Isaac has a better attitude and the staff felt he would not be an issue in the locker room. Or three, just so Michigan can't get him :) just kidding on that last one, sort of
Isaac is better, he fits our system better than Green. Green was more of a Tressel back, in fact, he would have been on OSUs class a year ago is Tressel was here. Isaac is a bit more shifty, taller, leaner, pass catcher, etc which is a bit better fit. Frankly, I don't see him coming here anyways and would rather have Wilson.
Also, is this the recruiting forum?
Why would you take Wilson over Isaac?
Nope.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
I think he is shiftier and a "different" RB than others and a better compliment.
A 6'3 220 RB? Do want!
Though it could hurt getting Jalen next year.

Ty Isaac is not coming to OSU....period. OSU will go after who wants to be here and who has mutual interest. I don't see TI coming...just my opinion before the DVers come out. Wilson could and watch out for the Robinson twins visiting too. Oregon's lose could be our gain...hopefully;-)

Yeah I don't really see this happening. He never seemed all that interested in tOSU from the get go. Stuff about wanting to be in a pro-style offense, etc. scUM will have a more realistic shot with Issac in my eyes. Let's hope not!
