Oh, Tommy. Not sure the details of this situation, but Massillon's coach is very upset at Tuberville. He stated, "“It was an ugly situation,” Hall said. “I think they thought he was going to go to Tennessee with Butch Jones and they offered another quarterback. But that wasn’t the case. Cincinnati will not be allowed back in Massillon on our campus as long as Jason Hall is in Massillon.” Here's the article, that mainly focuses on how QB Kempt (a great kid and player) was treated following Jones leaving for TN.

Wow.

Way to go, Tommy! I imagine some other Ohio HS coaches will take note of this as well.
Everyone say it with me now, "Douche-nozzle."
wow incredible the way some of these young men can be treated...
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
He has not had a good start at UC. I wander if Hazell has his quarterback at Purdue, as they could be a good fit for Kempt. Have to feel for the kid, but I have a feeling everything will work out for him. Can't say the same for Tubberville.
Good call on Purdue. I just made a similar comment about purde being a good fit further down this thread
“Right now, Michigan is not at the pinnacle of college football, and that’s all Urban Meyer cares about...He’s been there and knows what it takes to get there.”
Hopefully he can turn around his fortunes in the state of Ohio... considering now more than ever with Urban we're looking more nationally for recruits, would hate for all the leftovers in OH to go up north. Rather have them head to Cincy. .... Ehh, actually I don't really care. Go Bucks!!
I don't know..After reading the article it sounds a lot like a kid being upset that a new coach didnt think as much of him as the old one just because their systems may or may not be different. This situation reminds me of a child who doesn't get picked to play by the older kids so he simply takes his ball and goes home.
For the coach to just make that kind of declaration that ultimately will affect future recruits he should be geting blasted a little more than he is for effectively making that kind of life-altering decision for them.
If this is true..I'm sure Coach Hazell at Purde may listen to him. Which, coincidentally has a top-notch engineering program.
Put the kids first!!

Just finished reffing a middle school bball game in massilon n this was the talk of the gym. He won't have success recruiting stark county arguably the most talent rich pt of the state. The perry jackson n glenoak coaches were all talking about it.
O'Deez330
stark county football
wow. impressive way to burn another bridge. Only weeks after he left dinner with recruits at his last job.
~Because we couldn't go for three~
Not a smart move on his part. Massilon will have 3-5 D1 guys every year many which are perfect for Cincy. The other thing too is I would bet some money Massilons coach is friends with a lot of the other schools in that area that produce a lot of talent (McKinnley, Jackson, Glenoak, ect.) and he will be telling those coaches the same thing.
