With chip kelly leaving for the Eagles I was just wondering is it possible that Urban could flip this kid as well. No one talks about him much but he is blazing fast and is an elite player. Rated a 98 by 247!!

Great question for...

This thread is in the recruiting forum, so I am not sure what you are trying to say. You should not just add all recruiting questions to the thread you linked to because the conversation would be impossible to follow. That thread is just an announcement of this forum.
Back to the topic, I think because the kid is from Oregon, people think it would be tough to pull him away. I wouldn't be surprised if some west coast teams give it a shot though. Dontre Wilson had real interest before committing, so he is probably a better bet for spending time chasing. Although it does look like we just offered the Robinson twins who are Oregon commits.
if I could downvote, this post would get it....the one with the wrong link in it
WE NEED THIS KID HE FLIES
Yeah, this kid is sick as I stated in another thread. Sounds like he wants to stay west coast, but honestly, he is a much bigger get than Dontre Wilson... though I would take both in a heartbeat. If Urban somehow pulled this off, he immediatly wins the "Take advantage of turmoil in rectruiting" award after Penn St. and others last year and this year.
i've heard his biggest issue is staying healthy. clearly one of the fastest in this recruiting class, and would fit in great with us. that being said, they were already talking about chip's potential replacement during their bowl game, and seem to have his successor all lined up (at least for a season) in his old OC. between that, their facilities, and all the nike stuff, i don't think too many people would look around unfortunately
and while i think he is definitely a stud, MAN did those defenses blow. i think all but his last TD run were 40+ yard runs. most of them he burst through the line and went untouched into the end zone. reminds me of de'anthony thomas' TD runs in the rose bowl last year
No point in bringing in Wilson if we went after Tyner.
Only Oregon commits we are persuing are Wilson, Robinson twins, and Darren Carrington
I think if we could just get Tyner to visit and that is a big IF, there is at least a possiblity it could happen.
Tyner decomitted from Oregon once before, so it would'nt be as big a surprise as some think.
“Right now, Michigan is not at the pinnacle of college football, and that’s all Urban Meyer cares about...He’s been there and knows what it takes to get there.”
If we don't try for him now we can always wait till the NCAA slams Oregon. Then he might be able to transfer without penalty.
Wherever you are, there you be!
Yeah, I think OSU is a good spot to fall for some of those guys when they allow people to transfer without sitting out like at USC and Penn State. But if history is true to then, little if any will jump ship.
