Rumor is that Nick Saban has been using deer antler spray for years to recover from showing any emotion whatsoever...nope nevermind, he actually drinks doe urine.
I'm not trying to be a dick or overreact, but I feel like we have a certain responsibility not to let this slide. IF the SEC has been on this, or at very least Bama, I can only hope that Yahoo Sports, the NY Times, S.I., or Deadspin (apparently) continues to do some deep investagative reporting & figure out the whole truth about this.
This could be systematic for all we know. We've seen tOSU get drilled for tatoos, we've seen PSU get it for Sandusky, along with USC & the "U" for their respective blemishes, but if ANY bit of this, along with the already ridiculous oversigning/grayshirts is contributing to the top heavy SEC dominance (along with obvious biased media hype), then it needs BLOWN ALL THE WAY UP!
I'm not going to even get excited that Bama gets crushed with penelties because if you look at past allegations with the SEC the NCAA just turns their back or slaps them on the wrist. Its unfortunate but true
Might wanna check you facts. I forget what thread it was on but someone posted the list of NCAA infractions the SEC has committed in the last 10 years, along with punishment. They aren't getting off as easy as you think.
Nobody does stories about it or goes to the campus to dig every single story they can out of the SEC schools....it gets done behind closed doors and is never heard from again......osu got hammered in the media and most believe that the bowl ban was due to the offseason issue with devier posey in which he had a job they said he never went to and was paid for, that allowed the NCAA to reopen the investigation and then subsequently deny posey's attorney to prove that he was at the job and worked the hours he was paid for. its a double standard and it is getting old.
It isn't a double standard. First of all, anything that happens in SEC country is only assumed to be worse than tatgate and despite what we all want to think, Tatgate was a bit of an issue because it was a flagship program who's best players were all caught up in a scandal their head coach lied about\covered up\didn't investigate. Yes, the memorbilia\tatoos were menial but it wasn't the items being exchanged so much as it was the crime\cover up that ensued after.
Yes, we all think Bama gives guys cash and cars or that Auburn paid top dollar for Cam Newton (a story that was covered pretty well mind you) but its all perceived. I can gurantee you that every outlet in the country would be up, say, Texas' ass if something came out similar to tatgate.
Also-you want to know why UCF's story was hardly covered? BECAUSE ITS UC-EFFING F that's why.
Ohio State gets more attention because they are Ohio State but with that said, other major programs would be covered. Every single fan base (Yes, EVERY ONE) thinks that their team is the victim of media bias.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
I love all the moron commenters on that article, especially all the pea-brain SEC fans ("well I'm a Florida fan, so I hate Bama even I ..." no you don't you all chant SEC and root for each other, you're basically the same as a Bama fan) who think deer antler spray is some new thing that is the same as "squirrel urine." The stuff has IGF-1 (insuling growth factor-1), which is what the liver converts HGH into. It's not some voodoo redneck BS, it is a PED (performance enhancing drug). It is a way to get the effect of HGH in a way that is harder to detect. I know it's a big story now with Ray Lewis and the Super Bowl and all, but it has been around the NFL for a least 2 or 3 years.
Wow, I can't wait to see how the NCAA, espn, and the rest of the media handle this. If this were us, SI, espn and others would be a hemroid on our asses right now. Why the hate for Tress and the pass for Slick Nick? Was it about the fall of the squeaky clean image and that it's just assumed that Saban is a snake?
I wonder if deer antler spray is banned at my workplace? I've been using it for several weeks to recover from boredom.
Deer antlers huh? Bunch of taxidermists 'bout to start a side business.
vacuuming sucks
Deer antler spray is supposed to be a "natural" source of HGH. You can get sprays, powders, etc...
But my initial reactionn is WHHHHHHHHAAAAAAT!?
YES CAUGHT! CHEATERS! BRING DOWN THE REGIME!!!
no matter what, tattoos are worse ;)
And rigged raffles...
And used cars at market value...
THE WORST OF THE WORST.
Don't give up... Don't ever give up.
That you actually paid for!
"Don't put syrup on shit, and tell me it's pancakes"
No matter how sh*tty the tour is, it's always tough to leave.
If we are to compete with Alabama, WE CANNOT ALLOW A METAPHYSICAL GAP!
Just don't try to turn them into a metro-sexual.... that is all...
Why do you have a problem with Mr. Hand?
(resisting the urge to make a play on words...)
No. Not at all...
You are more disciplined than I .....
I heard that he will be hosted by Rosy Palm and her five sisters.
I want to know who thought to try deer antlers as a viable option for performance enhancing... and, of course, why.
ray lewis
His pre-game dances do seem to resemble a deer during mating season.. Figure that!
Maybe someone misinterpreted "Go Bucks"...?
Not cool! Funny, but most certainly not cool!
I think a guy received a game ban for using this stuff a few years ago in the NHL or MLB.
I don't know about anyone being suspended. But I do know MLB sent out a warning to players some time ago not to get caught using the stuff.
Lol, "may have". Please.
Urban Warfare
So thats how Santa Claus makes it all over the world in one night. huh

Wha? These seems ridiculous.

New definition to being horny
Total snakeoil salesmen. "It's from the Chinese!"
Anyone remember when the key BS phrases "It's from East Germany", "It's what the Russians are using" were in vogue?
Same shit, different rubes.
I just became aroused thinking about those E. German swimmer "women"

I, uhh....know this "guy." He's, umm...actually a friend and I... I mean "he" wanted to know where he would buy some of this deer antler stuff at...?
