Bleacher report is a joke but I, for one, am glad they publish. On a slow newsday or long weekend with nothing sports related they're sure to have 20 current stories pop up when you google "ohio state football". some good some infuriating some just stupid.
I subscribe to BR so I can get OSU articles from local newspapers in my email. Also, I like to skim the BR articles and read the comments. They usually give me a laugh because the commenters are idiots or they give me a laugh because they are smart and tell the author how they are wrong.
Even a blind squirrel gets a nut every now and then. I hope it's wrong.

Bleacher Report is always a day late and a dollar short,hardly breaking news.If you want stories or updates,you come here!! Every once in awhile I'll look at Bucknuts.com or 247,but that's about it.

That's all I do - I get B/R's email newsletter and it cracks me up when their "headlines" are at least 24 hours behind some story I read here first.
I'd say 11W is my main source of substantive recruiting news. I do agree that Twitter is great for breaking news if you follow the right people.
He is committed but still taking visits and says OSU may not be over yet.

If this story is true, I can only imagine that Gibson chose WVU because of their superior academic standards and tradition of winning.

He also has visits planned to UK and UT... He needs to hook up with Ryan Timmons and go to UK. They could really start to build a foundation with those to speed guys.
I agree Id love to see G/T together in that kind of offense. It probably will not do that great against top tier defenses bu I look for them to have a turn around. Just bought season tickets I hope to see a couple games, only got to 1 OSU game last year.

Gibson is gone he will not be a buckeye I believe grades done him in hope he has fun playing for a middle of the rode WV team while we are holding up the crystal ball.
Again... TEST SCORES, not grades. TEST scores.
Gibson is visiting Tennessee this weekend.
If they land Gibson and Marquez North that would be big for Butch Jones and his staff. With Hunter, Patterson, and Bray all leaving their offense will need to rebuild. They need to go hard after Derrick Green too. Offer him the keys to the cadillac and tell him it's his show for 4 years. UT being relevant is important in my life because my wife is a UT girl (I'm trying to convert her and getting close) and most of my friends are UT fans. If they are pretty good then Saturday's are good in my life. If not, I'm sitting alone cheering for OSU with no one to talk football to.
I go back and forth on whether or not I want UT to succeed under Jones. My in-laws are UT grads and I have several friends that are fans. I've enjoyed their misery the last couple years, and especially when my friends actually believed UT was gonna land Jon Gruden as their coach, and it didn't happen. Most of them though have been somewaht humbled from the last several years, but I don't know if I can handle all the "we're back" talk from Vol fans.
I'm not hearing any of the "we're back" talk. I'm hearing "hopefully we can win 6 games next year". Also hearing a lot of people saying they want to beat 1 of the big 4 on their schedule to get the program rolling again. UGA, Bama, USCe, and UF. A lot of people like what Butch Jones is doing tho.
Let me clarify: I haven't heard any "we're back" talk yet either. I meant I don't know if I can handle them winning some games and then saying it.
I'm not saying Jones won't get it done, but people I know really liked what Kiffin and Dooley were doing too, until, well you know what happened.

I would like Tenn to succeed because I like Butch Jones and wish someone could knock down some of the SEC elite. Plus if they land Derrick Green, that means UM deosn't have him. Scum getting Green= worst case scenario.

I think we will treat Derrick Green like we did Mike Hart. I believe Hart had 44 yards against us his senior year. They will have Gardener for at least 2 more years at QB... I can't see this offense being too good under Gardener. I also don't believe Green will stay more than 3 years.
What the heck happened here? Some insight would be nice. All we heard about was how this guy lit it up at Friday Night Lights. Now he's going to WV? We could have really used him if he is that good.
Apparently he came in for his OV last weekend and the staff found something they didn't like and stopped recruiting him. They have now offered James Clark, Kyrin Priester, Robinson Twins, Dontre Wilson is coming in, and are looking into Carringto who is also committed to Oregon.
The thing they didn't like would be his grades.
I'm surprised he brought his grades along on the OV. Most people have to send them by official transcript.
Its probably test scores.
