I think that everytime Shane Morris gets LIT THE F*#K UP it deserves to get it's own post hopefully full of pictures and videos. Does anyone else not want to see and hear about Shane Morris getting LIT THE F*#K UP?
Hard to tell him from Braxton with that last move he put on prior to getting drilled under the chin. He has completed two or three passes for the game though so that's pretty good.

The kid may not be a finished product, but he shows a ton of potential to be a leader for his team not to mention a big arm. I'm not ready to say he's gonna be Peyton or Luck, but the kid can play

Normally i would agree with you. But nothing he has shown in pads tells me he is a 5 star caliber QB. He was camp machine, but football isn't played in shorts. He got flat out worked by Ignatius, a Defense Ohio QB and UNC commit Mitch Trubisky lot up to the tune of 450 yards. His TD to Int ratio his senior year before sitting was like 1:1. He has the cannon for an arm, but I've not been impressed by Morris with pads on

I agree his numbers aren't exactly 5-star worthy but it's well documented that his high school team is bad, borderline terrible. We'll see what happens when he gets on campus, but saying he blows because he throws a pick in a HS all star game is silly

I wasn't impressed with any of the QB's.
Shane Morris looked like he still had mono. Slow release, no power on his short/medium throws. His longer throws looked like blimps. Questionable decisionmaking on both his throws and decisions to run the ball (which is where he got lit up). He looked like someone who dominated a low level of competition previously and couldn't play up to a higher level.
He's gonna be a INT machine for sure.

Oh all the tTUN fans (here and elsewhere) will just say that he's young and will have plenty of time to get better and all that optimistic crap. He's overrated and the next four to five years will prove it beyond belief...CAN'T WAIT!

Morris made his 5-star reputation on lousy Michigan high school teams. In the 2011 state playoffs, his team didn't score a TD against Cass Tech. And when he played against Cleveland St. Ignatius in September (2012), he was 9 for 24 for just over 100 yards. He doesn't show up against really good teams, but is a 5-star player against the lousy ones. I'm sure he will be the same kind of 5-star player for Michigan when the Wolverines beat up on their directional Michigans.
Maybe the one guy will play for South Carolina. Or he'll decide he wants to do that for the next few years and take a look at us
