Not coming here.
I read some where on here that he is still open to tOSU should they make contact?!
based on the last recruiting mail bag, dont think there is room for him unless plans a (james quick), b(shelton gibson), c(ryan timmons), and d (someone i am forgetting) all fall apart
Disagree here... mainly because of the type of WR he is. While he doesn't have GREAT height (5'10" according to rivals) he is more of a pure route-running reciever as opposed to a slot guy (IIRC). I think if we miss out on BOTH Gibson and Quick, the staff will still want a true wideout and not just two more slot guys and could give him a call. If we land one of the two, then the other spot can go to a more slot guy (timmons/elder). But I think one of those spots the staff would really like to use for a true wideout.
Also, I would say Elder is plan C and not Timmons... Elder is the one with the offer currentlt.
Cause I couldn't go for three
thats the guy i forgot, thanks for the clear up. I am with you, i like larue a lot, but i just dont think the staff is that high on him from what alex and co have said. i know nothing, im just going on what eleven warriors enlightens all of us on.
Larue is a Decommit for more reasons than you are assuming. He was not spectacular in High School and was told his position in this recruiting class was not so high. He is avoiding future dissatisfaction problems early so this was a smart move on his behalf but should hardly make him a big target.
Breaking news?
Happened yesterday
11W staff reiterated that his visit (scheduled for the Game) was cancelled, most likely by the coaching staff. I don't think he is being recruited. Look for two of Quick, Gibson, Wilson, Elder, and Timmons to fill out the WR/playmaker role in this class.
