2013 - 22 (1 remaining open scholarship)
2014 - 13
2015 - 19 (Scholarship reductions over back to 85 total)
When you look at things as they stand now it looks like there may be 2-3 additional transfers. I think the final count for 2013 is either 24 or 25. Worley is in (22), Gibson is in (23), Bell could be in (24) and then another OL or WR could put 2013 at 25.
2014 looks to be the first class that is really affected by the reductions. Assuming Roby leaves that puts the class at 14. Shazier could leave early as well making it 15, but it will probably be tough to get this class into the 20s.

Thanks for putting this together. You're right that 2014 will be a smaller class. I still would expect it to be a few more than 15, though, due to attrition.
If there is only one scholarship left how are we suppose to get bell. Gibson . Timmons . Elder I Know we at least want two. So how is it gonna happen?
Buckeye_For_Life
Attrition in the upcoming weeks. And I think that we will get pretty close to 20 in the 2014 class with transfers/players leaving.
Hopefully we can have a USC type class next year!
Based on the number of recent transfers and medical hardships, I would be surprised if the class doesn't reach into the 20s. Way too early to start worrying about future numbers.
Will Someone in lighten me on what attrition is please?
Buckeye_For_Life
-Players get injured and have to get medical hardships (Jamie Wood)
-Players see the writing on the wall depth chart wise and transfer (Reed) and the staff will be upfront with players about their playing future and may urge them to transfer (Rod Smith)
-Players get into trouble and get kicked off the team (Storm Klein over summer)
-Players leave early (Hankins)
-Players get homesick and tranfer back home (Southward)
I see thanks. Don't give up on rod smith yet. He ain't gone yet
Buckeye_For_Life
He's not gone at all but after last season Urban urged him to transfer but Rod said no and stuck it out. He's firmly a Buckeye.
He isn't saying Smith was given up on. He is referencing Meyer talking to Smith telling him he may not have what it takes to be a Buckeye. Smith took it to heart and earned his PT.
I would love to see Smith correct his fumbling issues, because he is a beast when he touches that ball.
OT: I didn't know Linsely was a senior this year. He played C for our team, who was his back up?

Linsley will be a senior this coming year
I'm gonna post the football scholarship grid later today but I just wanted to ask a few questions to clarify things before I did. Replace Perkins with Johnston (Punter).
Thanks!

Not to be a jackass, but I feel like 1 and 3 would be answered by your grid. As for question 2, yes 2014 will have 82, 2015 will have 85
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Dude you're such a jackass but I agree with what you said.
I wasn't sure if we took three less players every year so it was only 82 for the 2013 and 2014 classes or if it was something else. I see we have 81 scholarship players on the roster this year but it wouldn't indicated how many scholarships we had open which I'll now assume is 82.
Thanks though.
+1
Will post later today!

I'll be interested to look at your grid, as I thought we were at 82. I did try doing all the math in my head though, so a very realistic chance I miscounted

We're at 82 with incoming Punter Cameron Johnston. He took Perkins' scholarship.
Nope we will have 82.
This is the last class affected by reductions. 2015 class will be back to 85.
Whatever puts us at 82.
Also, you can remove Pittman.
