Since we missed out on Quick and Stevens chose another school, who would you like to commit to the Buckeyes. If you could only take two, who would it be? I think I would take Gibson and Timmons, mainly because I think they both really want to be Buckeyes and are playmakers. Who would you take?

Gimme Gibson and Elder.
We'll take Timmons if we miss on Gibson, Elder, (Wilson if Chip goes pro), and the potential offensive mystery flip.
I'm not ready to count out Dontre Wilson just yet. I'd take him and Gibson.
Alex has already said he doesn't think the flip will happen now. I think we end up with Gibson and Timmons which is fine by me. Conley and Lee can both play offense. Urban also told Bell he could see some time at WR.
Having seen all but one game in Lee's varsity career live, I can tell you that he will not play offense at the D1 level.
The mystery recruit was not Wilson
The Buckeyes are going after Dontre Wilson HARD....Gibson, Elder, Timmons follow in that order IMO
I think they land Gibson (if grades pan out) and Elder at this point if they can take two players
I don't think Kelly gets a deal done with a NFL team. I look for Wilson to stay in Oregon. For this class, give me Gibson, and probably Elder. Really they're both a bit undersized, but I think Elder might be a bit more versatile.
Just a life long Buckeye fan wanting to talk to other lifelong Buckeye fans. Our honor defend, we will fight to the end for OOO HIIII OOOOOO!
Elder took about 90% of his snaps in high school at RB. I wouldn't consider him too versatile. He'll have to learn the slot position just like Marshall is having to adjust. I'd much rather have Gibson and Timmons.
Yeah, I think Elder might play CB instead.
With OP - Gibson & Timmons.

Gibson/Wilson or Timmons. Elder just seems too small IMO. I'd really like to see the full court press put on Treadwell. He would be an amazing get if it is at all possible.
Any chance on Sebastian LaRue?
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
I heard he is interested, I was not that impressed with what i saw at the UA game.
He definitely had the most opportunities with least results in the AA game, but his highlights are pretty amazing to watch. Overall I'm upset with the lack of WR's in the mix that are over 6'0" tall.. Assuming his grades are good, I'm hoping Gibson is priority no. 1.
As long as they make plays, who cares if they're 6'0 or under?

Valid point, and I would be very happy with a playmaker. That being said, it would be nice to have a big, physical receiver to block on the outside for B Mill and Hyde, and make Milller's arm look better than it is, a la a reach advantage.
We have 1. His name is Michael Thomas and he's only a rising sophomore. We can miss on a big WR in this class, but will need 1 in 2014.
I know about Thomas, he's 6' 6" right? I've never heard anything about him, be it good or bad though.
He's 6'2'', and he's done basically nothing to show that he can be a playmaker outside of the spring game, so I'd like to hedge our bets.
That's right, he had a beast of a spring game last year, and than got buried in the depth charts.. I remember that now.
Timmons and Elder aren't receivers, they are ATHs, which means they could play anywhere, Gibson is a WR. Gibson is the only WR target we are mainly going after.
We have Taivon Jacobs, should be a WR, also Gareon Conley, Jalin Marshall & Darron Lee all could play WR if asked to.
I wouldn't be surprised if we just went after Gibson.
Questions I hope will be answered after next weekend.
LaRue will listen if Ohio State called him, but I think that ship sailed. Wilson is more than likely staying committed with Oregon. I never believed he would visit Ohio State, and still don't.
If things go like they are, Ohio State may finish with Worley, Gibson, Elder & Bell. May have room for one more OL commit, toss up between Skipper and Hunt, but Hunt sounds like a more logical choice right now. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get another OL.
Everyone seems to be sleeping on our walk on Devlin McDaniel as well. He could contribute.
Gibson and Ryan Timmons.
Help is on the way.
Gibson and Timmons
TIMMONS!!!! IN ALL CAPS!!!!!!!
I'd like to see us go after Treadwell, but I think it's a little too late in the game for that.
Good player's make the play's they're suppose to, great player's make the play's they're NOT !!!
Gibson and Timmons and Elder why not?
With Bell probably being the last signing close to signing day.
This weekend coming up 1/11/13 I think will produce a Timmons commit because I think he gets his offer and commits on the spot
gibson and timmons. especially timmons. have seen him play numerous times. he has speed, very good hands, team first attitude, good student, humble, is very coachable, and he WANTS to be a BUCKEYE.
I would like Gibson and Timmons. If both want to be Buckeyes, then hook them up!!!
As far as losing out on Quick, we already have our Quick, his name is Jalin Marshall. Very impressed with him as a reciever in the All Star game. Wait until he gets coached up and we'll be saying "Quick who?"
Gibson and Timmons.
SCOTTC.
1. Gibson
2. Timmons
3. Elder
"if irony were made of strawberries, we' d all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
I'm sure this has already been answered but I may have missed it: Has the ship sailed on MarQuez North already? I know he has a lot of family ties to UNC and it was doubtful he would leave home. Just wondering if he was completely out of the question or not....
NC Buckeye.
