Obviously recruits can attend home football games on official and unofficial visits and even bowl practices but are programs alllowed to invite potential recruits to their bowl game? I've never thought about this and my guess is that they would not be permitted to attend. Can anyone provide any insight?

No visits for bowl games
It's a dead period anyway
Dead period ended January 3rd.
There is a second dead period that goes until thursday at midnight
EDIT: Well actually, a quiet period until a half hour ago, which is defined by the NCAA website as: "During a quiet period a college coach may not have face-to-face contact with college-bound student-athletes or their parents, and may not watch student-athletes compete or visit their high schools. Coaches may write or telephone college-bound student-athletes or their parents during this time."
He wasn't a guest of any team but Joey Bosa was at the game.
