Regardless if Von Bell commits or not, this class is already unbelievably good. Urban has done right by the program, and the fans, and brought a group of guys together that we can all be proud of. Even if Bell doesn't commit, this is still the best secondary class in the country, and without doubt the best secondary class TOSU has brought in that I can remember.
I still want Von Bell to commit though, and if he doesn't, I might get emo. just saying.
I agree... I've read it takes 2 years to build relationships with kids and coaches... He hasn't had that full amount of time with the 2012 or 2013 classes. His best class will be the 2014 which I believe will be small but loaded with 5* players.
Bell would hurt,not as deep as if we don't pull in any top notch WR's though. 2014 will definately be the class to look at though!! We're recruiting like half of Georgia's top players.lol Pulling in top Ohio kids,and nabbing some of the best from the rest,nation wide,loving these coaches.Can't say they leave any stone unturned for sure.They just go after everyone,no matter where they live!!

Bell is a must get for this class IMO. Remember after the 2013 Season were losing Roby, Bryant, Barnett, Brown in the secondary. I feel like if Bell stays healthy he could immediately fill a need at one of those S spots and will have a year of experience under his belt to get used to the speed of the game. I agree this class is already amazing, but we need Bell.
One thing I would say keep in mind though, there will be a complete year/season for the coaching staff to decide how to use what is available to them. For instance, Conley/Apple could play at corner, burrows is big enough to be a heavy hitting safety, and thompson seems to be the forgotten member of this group. If he gets coached up he could be a real force. I'm not saying we don't need Bell, we do for sure, but if he chooses not to go scarlet and grey, it won't be the end of the world. However, I will say it does put a lot of pressure on the staff to snag a huge talent at S in 2014.

I understand Burrows Thompson and even Lee could come in and contribute at S I'm not doubting that at all. More complimenting how impressed I was with Bell at the Underarmor AA game at how he completely shut down some of the top athletes in the country play after play. Bell is just much further along as a player and could be inserted almost immediately where some of these other guys might take a year or two to develop

I'm sure they're in his ear to try and have a contingency plan, but I don't know if it's doable.
