While I am sure there are a lot of things that go on behind the scenes everywhere, I am glad that OSU has not used Toradol with its players. I was not aware of this whole situation until reading this article.

Painkiller use is rampant in college football, I can testify firsthand. Things like Advil are most common but much more powerful things are easy to get.

Unfortunately, drug use in general is very common in all football, when not regulated. We've seen players get suspended in the NFL for adderall, but a certain powerhouse from my hometown had the entire lines on O and D admit after the fact that they used speed before the games for competitive advantage.
Agree with 703 - many schools use anything they can get their hands on for a competitive advantage. The use of IV's (right on the sidelines) to hydrate players is rampant in the SEC - there is no telling what is in those bags of fluid. I don't think I have ever seen IV's used by teams outside the SEC, but that doesn't mean they don't do it. And, I am not surprised that USC is where this story is breaking. And, Kiffin says he knew nothing about it! LMFAO, a legal suit against your team/school for it's use and you know nothing? What a joke!!!! At least have the intelligence to say "no comment."
Dont forget defalted footballs were a grad students fault. I'm sure this one will fall on said grad students replacement.
