Ohio State confirms Johnson will be the 5th Buckeye to participate in a draft-prep game.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State University safety Orhian Johnson will play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl this Saturday (Jan. 19) in Carson, Calif., the NFL Players Association announced today. The game will be played at The Home Depot Center on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. EST and it will be broadcast live on ESPN2.
Johnson played in 49 games for the Buckeyes and amassed 131 tackles, six interceptions and 10 pass break-ups, including a personal-best seven PBUs for the 2012 undefeated Buckeyes. A starter in 22 career games, Johnson had 39 tackles as a senior and recorded a pair of interceptions, including a fourth-quarter pick to help preserve the Buckeyes’ win over California. He also intercepted a pass in the Buckeyes’ win over Nebraska.
Johnson is the fifth Buckeye to commit to playing in a post-season all-star game. Classmates Travis Howard and Nathan Williams will take part in the 88th East-West Shrine game this Saturday in St. Petersburg, Fla., and John Simon and Reid Fragel will play in the Senior Bowl Jan. 26 in Mobile, Ala.

Good for OJ, I always liked him.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
Much luck to him! I always liked him too. He was solid when he was in the game this past year.
OJ will never make it in the League. Waaaaaaay too soft.
Way to show your support for a Buckeye.
There's supporting... and then there's reality.
The reality is that you should support him because he's a Buckeye.
I disagree I think he has a shot. He's got size and athleticism.
Nate Ebner is in the league
I'm a friend of thunder is it any wonder lightning strikes me
Good luck fellas. Go Bucks!
Orhian "Baby Braids" Johnson! (for those of you who watched the espn inside access for OSU over the summer)
You mean "Short Ass Braids"
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
Am I the only one who thinks orhian looks like urkel? Glad he's gettin a chance to suit up in one of the senior showcases. Good luck short ass braids
He has the size to be an NFL FS.
I bet he at worst gets a tryout to some teams and he may surprise some doubters and make an NFL roster!!
I think he can!
GO BUCKS!
He will do well at the combine and he should be fine as long as they don't look at the films
You can do anything as long as you set your mind to do it..at least that's what my grandfather always told me..
The kid is a pretty good athlete, his physicality is imperfect, but I think that he has a chance to make a roster somewhere.
If Anderson Russell can make an NFL roster I have to think OJ can make someone's team.
If I recall correctly, Urban Meyer himself went to the defensive coaches to lobby to get OJ on the field. He cant be that soft right?
I recall the same; Meyer told them to put OJ on the field.
