I'm not sure how I feel about Hall coming back... With Hyde emerging last year and these young quick guys coming in, I just don't know where he's going to fit.  He didn't seem to explosive to me last year.  I know he was hurt, but I want someone with Harvin type speed and he doesn't have that.  I think he can run between the tackles, but we have Hyde.  I really want Marshall and Zeke to explode this year and be a force for opposing defenses for at least 3 years.  I don't think he will hurt the offense, but I don't think he will improve the offense that much.

he's a nice check down option in passing situations and he is shifty enough to make people miss and gain valuable yards, I agree with you that he's not fast enough to really out run fast DB'S and safeties. But he will have a nice senior year playing probably in certain situations where two backs are needed and when Urban wants to really spread a team out.

I don't think either of the frosh options will become a primary threat this year, but I think they will get reps along with hall at the H position most likely.  Hall won't be competeing with Hyde and I think he will be good to have on the team from an experience standpoint.  If you really want to compete legitimately for a NT or even a B1G title and a Rose Bowl win we will need some leadership at the skill positions, and he apparently was turning into a pretty good leader before his season ended.  He was talking to Hyde, Dunn, Smith etc... all the time on the sideline last year too.  I think its a good thing.

Any word about why the spring game will be in Cincinnati and not The Shoe? I don't see the game having high enough attendance anywhere else to justify a change of location. The only reason I can think of is they will be doing more work on The Shoe like during my graduation last spring.

“There are some people addicted to alcohol, some people are addicted to gambling,” Luginbill said. “Urban Meyer is addicted to football, and he’s addicted to winning.”

   You would be correct.

Any word on when Friday Night Lights will be? I hope they are able to set it for a weekend that there aren't any other big camps like last year.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hall has a great season.  He was a solid back, a great return man and is able to catch balls and make plays in space.  He looked great @MSU this past season until he got injured again.  He is fast and elusive and Meyer was very high on him this past year.  This offense should be really good moving forward.  Imagine Hyde in the backfield as the powerback, and Hall in the slot.  They could have Hall and Philly Brown on the field at the same time and keep one in the slot and have the other rotate into the backfield in that H back role.  Put Smith on the outside and a TE and Marshall and you have 5 great options.  We have a stable of backs this year that all have different upsides and styles.  Mix all of this in with Braxton and hopefully an improved passing game and this is a 40 point a week offense.  Hall is a veteran and his experience and leadership will be valuable this year.

I agree with you Hall's leadership alone will be extremely valuable not just on the field but off as well. Workouts, conditioning, etc.

Another weapon is a good thing. If the kids are better, they will play ahead of Hall. I hate to criticize Tress, but his seemingly blind loyalty to seniors drove me crazy sometimes. I don't see that being an issue with Urban. He is all about production.
