I really don't understand the allure of Notre Dame to these national recruits. They have a football brand that has been mediocre, excluding this year, for the last two decades. The city of South Bend is a dump, unless they have done some major clean up in the last few years. The campus is fairly nice but it's not really anything to write home about and the coach has anger management problems. I'm not saying something is going on up there but I would trust Brian Kelly about as far as I can throw him and that tubby redface isn't going very far.
With all due respect, take of the scarlet glasses. Saying they have a lot going for them doesn't diminish OSU.
I'll give it a shot...
#1 Graduation Rate in the country
Great Degree
Played for a national championship this year
They have great history
Independence = Special
They play the best schedule in the country - Maybe not always the toughest but the "best" in imo. I would trade our schedule for theirs almost any year.
Always on broadcast TV
Name recognition - talk to any non-football fan and tell them you played at ND and they know you were good.
ESPN had a breakdown of the schools, one of the categories was "Campus Feel", ND was "crunchy", Bama was "preppy". All I could think of was chicks with hairy armpits.
It's 50K a year to go there and their degrees carry some weight. Personally... I'd say there is probably some shady stuff going on, but I believe every school breaks the rules. Just so happened our players got caught in the middle of a FBI investigation.
They may have a change of heart until they remember that the alternative is going back to a team that just went 7-6 and is coached by a clown (Kiffin)
Who left USC to go to ND?
I think Max Redfield did

When did they play for the National Championship? I never saw them show up for the game.
good point. I would add a strikethrough but can't edit it any longer.
Up Vote^^^
They have the number 1 undergrad business program...

There aren't many hot chicks at Notre Dame.
So, therefore, TRB wouldn't go there.
Help is on the way.

Crunchy chicks = yuck.

Things you don't want to hear about your program:

After Monday's Meltdown, there's rumors that Touchdown Jesus is transferring
Found him. Something about better weather and better looking women. Same Catholic morals though.
Sorry but that is clearly "unsportsmanlike contact" Jesus
