ESPN insider report that Gunner Kiel may be looking to transfer to another institution after leaving both Indiana and LSU. If I'm a ND fan its not that big of a deal because Gholston was a Freshman. My opinion on the both this and the Anzalone situation is that if you have a player that switches commitments that quickly and enrolls early at another school you should be weary of their actual level of commitment. I hope both kids find the school that fits them but if I'm Brian Kelly I might take another look at some future recruits.

Golson is a redshirt freshman. I guess Kiel thought he could just show up and win the job.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Kiel and Anazalone are in the same boat... Aren't true to their word at all.
That and they have Malik Zaire coming in as well. And Tommy Rees... I wouldn't say its about ND players commitment level, transfers happen, especially if you're not playing. This dude had an Anzalone type recruitment flirting w/ Ind/LSU and ND so it's no surprise to see him potentially transferring.
Not a great way to kick off the offseason if you're an Irish fan. Figured the NC loss was a given, but not a beat down. Then the news Kelly is entertaining NFL opportunities, Team Anzalone spurning the program and now this?
The hits keep on coming. That Kiel kid seems to lack committment to his committment.

I think I'm just going to say this line over and over. Funny.
We have players that transfer all the time too....you can't blame the school for not teaching committment.
it was a joke cincy. chill
ERRONEOUS we can blame whoever we want for whatever we want

I'm a friend of thunder is it any wonder lightning strikes me
Gunnar try a Michigan MAC school that way if you dont like it you can always bounce from Central to Eastern to Western its a much easier commute than Indiana-Louisiana-Indiana

With Coffman and Roberson set to be juniors at IU he sits his transfer year, then could redshirt or start as a junior. Kevin Wilson was Sam Bradford's O-coordinator at Oklahoma, and could really develop him.
Purdue is also a close transfer destination. Gotta think Hazell could work wonders with a talent level like Kiel's.
He should transfer. He's got a huge arm and quick, accurate release, and would work wonders in a lot of offenses. I personally am not 100% sold on Golson's upside, but it appears that Kelly prefers the predictability of his skills as opposed to Kiel's. Every job is up for competition, but I think Kiel's recruitment was based more on proximity and tradition as opposed to a player-offense fit.
I'd like to se Kiel tansfer to IU. It would be good for the B1G, and he would be a great fit in Kevin Wilson's offense.
Dustin Fox was our leading tackler as a corner.... because his guy always caught the ball.
If he does transfer, Les Miles was right about the young man.
Golson is going to be awesome, and he isn't too bad right now.
I called that. Knew anzalone would decommit from nd.
