I don't recall this is being announced, but could it be Josh McNeil? He looked pretty impressive yesterday, and I learned he had decommitted. I'm not sure if there is a TE need, but I believe we would have taken him and Heuerman earlier in the year.

I hope not, don't need a tight end and I think its believed he wont even be eligible to play at LSU.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
Don't think so. Alex has said in other threads that the mystery flip was close but it will not happen. He will reveal on NSD
I think Alex mentioned that the mystery flip was no longer going to happen and that he would be enrolling elsewhere. He said he would explain why he thought he would flip and what happened on NSD.
The staff doesn't want another TE and McNeil got fat
Jaylon Smith it might have been?
PEOPLE!!! It's SO obvious it was about TE Mike Heuerman. I called this back in Sept >> http://www.elevenwarriors.com/2012/09/14285/11w-recruiting-staff-roundtable-michigan-state-week#comment-247665
This is my prediction as well. We won't be sure until Alex let's us know, but this would make sense.
Just to give you some props on this:
If I remember correctly Alex also mentioned that his mystery flip has since enrolled already at the school he was committed to.

The early enrollment factor was why I asked everyone on here if there was a possibilty of it being Malik Zaire.
Having since read all the facts, I'm starting to believe that it was Heuerman after all.
“Right now, Michigan is not at the pinnacle of college football, and that’s all Urban Meyer cares about...He’s been there and knows what it takes to get there.”
It might be that they flipped Sam Thompson to football as a skinny WR that they just throw jumpballs to about every 3rd offensive play.
D. Anthony
Not Josh McNeil
From what ive heard it was either Mike Heuerman or John Montelus OL commit to ND as well but Alex did say he will tell us when the time comes.
There are 2 guys that wanted to flip (who previously held offers) that Urban wouldn't take.
D. Anthony
who?
I hope it's not another TE. I thought I read McNeil would likely have to go juco/prep route because of grades?
