Ive been watching the game and the mich oline commits and shane morris are performing terirble. Ive seen several bad snaps and missed blocks from kugler and the other lineman have been getting beat consistently and look slow. How morris is 5star is beyond me his arms strong but he doesnt look very impressive at all not to mention he got SMOKED and cant complete a pass. Compared to our guys, almost everyone of one has made a really nice play or a few.
add one INT for morris as well..this kids gonna be the next henne 4 loses to OSU in a row.

I like Michigan better when they suck!
They don't look spectacular in any way, shape, or form. But remember, they are all playing at the HS level right now. They will be better coached soon. I still hope Ohio State crushes them for every year to come. I will give Poggi some credit tho, but only him, thus far.
poggi is the only recruit that made positive plays out of the bunch. one good throw from shane that was broken up was the next best thing
I agree, I don't think Morris looks as good as advertised.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning! GO BUCKS!!
I agree poggi looks to be the only one of their commits doing anything good. he definitely looks solid but im very happy with seeing how bosa's been blowing these olineman up.
Poggi looks solid. Shane Morris had a couple of nice throws. Haven't noticed much from the others.
I don't see how Shame Morris can remain a 5 star, he has to drop IMO.
I was thinking the same thing. Mono-boy should have stayed in bed.
They're going to look even worse once they come to Columbus.
Bet if you go to the scUM sites they're talking about how good Shane looked and how good the white team o-line looked. It had 3 or 4 scUM recruits on it and it was as bad as an o-line could play imo.
All but Michiganders came to this realiztion months ago when St. Iggy's made him look like a 2 Star QB.
Heard that Bosa was abusing Kugler earlier this week in 1-on-1 drills, too. Just terrific.
I love seeing him get beat! Kugler went to my high schools biggest rival (North Allegheny in Pgh.) and now hes going to my colleges biggest rival. Go Bucks! (And lets go Indians)
there really wasnt one qb on the white team that was even able to look halfway decent bc how bad the oline played. considering it was made up mostly of mich commits makes me happy to know our dlineman will be blowing them up for years to come.
it doesnt help either offense when all 12 of the top ten recruits (according to espn) minus one OT recruit were defense. the game was much more talented on the DL, and to be honest made it hard for even our offensive recruits (namely jalin) hard to stand out
Our guys looked good but I wouldn't read too much into it about how Michigan commits played. Defensive lineman always play better than olineman in these games. Precisely why olineman and QBs are the most likely redshirts.
Not only that, the offense isn't allowed to scheme much in these games. No motion, no hurry-up, no pulling linemen. It's man-on-man. Huge advantage to the D. Some of these kids play in (or are going to play in) a completley different system than was run today.
That said, Morris still looked terrible. Bad reads, bad feet and terrible throws. He has a cannon of an arm, can't argue that, but he has no vision or feel for routes.
I think it's all about decision making. He does have a cannon but needs to see his reads faster. I noticed he likes to stare down his WRs.
Looking at all of your comments, you always have pro scUM stuff to say. I think you may be in disguise.
good point. no need to hide. i've been pleased, as a new member that good comments even from ttun fans get respect. dumb ones not so much...
You can stop your witch hunt. I live in Ohio and work in Michigan. I know a lot about Michigan do to the constant conversations I have with Michigan fans. I do not call them scUM or TSUN and I don't make fun of HS quarterbacks or their overweight coach. I think that is immature and frankly don't care what your opinion is. If you want to talk about matchups and football then great. Your posts are immature and ruin the content on this awesome site. Frankly not playing in a bowl, I have focused more on recruiting. It has been a battle ground and its fun to see the future battles that Michigan and Ohio State will have.
Edit: in response to Lou
Morris looked awful, but if I'm a Michigan fan I'm not really upset. QB can be really hard to adjust to the next level, but it's a lot easier if you have the tools. And despite how awful Morris has looked this week he has the physical tools to be a factor. And begrudgingly we all have to admit he is a leader the way he brought his recruiting class together.
Not a bad start. He might be a couple years away from being impact, but the potential is there and we should respect it.
not worried about High School all star games just waiting for him to get lit up by Spence, Diesel and company in
THEE GAME
I'm a friend of thunder is it any wonder lightning strikes me
throw in a few pick sixes from Burrows and Mr Apple and call it a party
I'm a friend of thunder is it any wonder lightning strikes me
One thing is for sure,...Morris better lose the cement blocks his feet are in or he better have the best offensive line in the country. Our D-line will be licking their chops for sure.
Go Bucks!
Exactly. The guy has a strong and accurate arm when he can set up in one place and deliver the ball. But he has the worst pocket awareness I have ever seen and he lacks all ability to throw on the move. I set my feet better on the move and I'm in 9th grade. That has to improve or he will not be able to play major college football.
You're a very articulate and smart kid for a ninth grader.
Thanks man I appreciate it.
Im more ticked at the fact it looked like he wasnt trying to look Jalins way and trying desperately to target Treadwell everytime. Typical Zach Morris strategy.
I wouldn't put any stock into how they look in an all star game, braxton looked like shit when he played in this game. Shane Morris was probably worse though as he really had 1 good pass all day and it was knocked down. As for the o line you can't expect much from any lineman in these games as they don't have time to gel with their fellow lineman plus they usually go up against freaks which is why just about every year you see this game turning into a sack fest.
To be fair Morris had a really nice pass to Treadwell in the endzone that he lost going to the ground. I think people are wearing the scarlet colored glasses a little too much. For anyone to say all the Michigan commits looked terrible is a tad ridiculous.
Agree. Having a commit in the game is positive. More positive than having a player who wasn't good enough to be there. Luckily, we have more!
Morris and his fellow Scumbags did look bad most of the time, although as several of our members have pointed out the defense has a significant advantage in these types of games. cohesion on an o-line takes more than a week to build right, that minute bit of sympathy out of the way: I was quite pleased with how our defensive commits played. obvious highlight of the game was when that LB smeared morris on the turf.
All the games of the season are just practices for that glorious saturday in November when we get to jack Shoelace's invisible cereal bowl and drink our fill of delicious skunkweasel tears ...Michigan Still Sucks!!
Each time we play them, Zach Morris will pry throw more TDs to Burrows, Woodard, *Bell, Thompson, Conley than his own team.
I'm just glad we won't be seeing Morris to Treadwell for the next 4 yrs. That was a nice throw and only a spectacular defensive play saved it from being a TD.
Watching Morris play brought visions of future pick 6's to my head!
"Because I couldn't go for 3"
The Dead Schembechlers are going to have to come out of retirement to come up with a Sequel to "Chad Henne Is A Joke" just for Shaney-boy when he starts losing to tOSU every year.......
morris is over rated. hes a combine hero. i believe he wont red shirt even if gardner gets extra year and at some point if they can recruit someone even half decent he will be pushed. never really understood the fuss over this kid.
I dont know karate but i do know crazy and i'm not afraid to use it.

I agree he's overrated BRGLR...but why do you think he doesn't redshirt? I know the scUM coaches aren't the smartest bunch (Mattison being the exception, lots of respect for him), but surely they can see the benefit of red shirting Shane. The only reason he's ranked as high as he is is because of the sheet number of camps he attended and his arm strength, which is impressive. Mentally, he'd be a deer staring at headlights if he stepped onto the field before his redshirt junior year. Although if I saw Bosa, Spence, or any one of our D-linemen running at me I'd do the same thing. I think after A LOT of development, he becomes a mediocre starter by his senior year, if he hasn't been buried on the depth chart by then.
i see no redshirt because i feel they have no other options but to try and get him ready. they saw what bellamy is may feel the need to find out about morris quickly if gardner gets dinged. other than taylor coming back their o line takes some hits.
I dont know karate but i do know crazy and i'm not afraid to use it.

They were horrible and I loved every minute of it. Did everyone notice how well most of the OSU recruits did...that's not a coincidence. I especially liked this below...yep...it's Shane Morris. My best example of foreshadowing of Trey Johnson or I hope Joey Bosa hit to be...enjoy.
I never get tired of watching this....
