With the stable of RBs and WRs we have now, I think some preference will be given to giving some of the younger guys who are threats to transfer after sitting another season behind the Hyde/Rod/Hall monster. With that said I think though Rod Smith looked good at KR last season, he lacked that explosiveness that could take it to the house at any moment. Also being a RS Jr next season he is no threat to transfer and should get plenty of carries spelling Hyde and in that two back formation they unveiled towards the end of the year last year. Taivon Jacobs is a hell of a returner on film but he really looks like he needs a year to put on some weight less a strong wind blows him over. Ezekiel Elliot seems the surest bet to be at least a KR given his gamebreaking abilities. Zeke should also see some action in that 3 RB set and has such good hands he could easily motion wide out of this set and be a threat. The other KR looks to be a showdown between Ball and Dunn, with the loser, if he also doesn't get much playing time at RB a strong candidate for transfer. The PR would seem to be either Philly, given his success in the second half of the season returning punts, or Hall, with his experience. I'm going to go against the familiar choices and say that Zeke will be too good to hold off and will win this job as well. Looking at Urban's past Florida teams, when he didn't have the ridiculous Brandon James, he really seemed to split up the return duties with 4-5 players getting 6-9 chances a season. Whatever he decides it would be great to get another 2 or so return TDs added to our totals this season. Of course all of these thoughts change if Wilson or Clark add a late committing speedster to the mix. What are your thoughts on the possibilities?

I don't trust Rod Smith to hold on to the ball. Incredible talent though. I think Mr. Roby is gonna get a chance. I would also like to see Corey Smith get a look. He was a retuner in JUCO. I think I've also read on this site that Armani Reeves could get a look.
Jalin Marshall
Great call. Completely forgot about him. No chance he's not in the rotation.
I'd like Zeke and Marshall. That's if Zeke doesn't flip. I don't see 2 freshmen back there tho. Maybe Marshall and Philly Brown.
Give it to Mike "The Abusement Park" Mitchell.
Rod Smith and a freshman sounds good to me. I don't think Rod ever fumbled a kick return and he seemed to rip off 30+ yard returns every time.
taivon jacobs would be great as well.

"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Just for the sake of trying to limit repeat forums...

Ha. Oops. I even commented on that one. At least it wasn't a James Quick post.
Even funnier is that statutoryglory was the last to comment on that one.
Philly definitely for PR.
KR will be a mix til conference play.
Even more exciting is that there will be even more talent to fill out special teams. These kids won't want to transfer because they get to be piranhas. Jamal Marcus played like a beast on coverage. Imagine gunners like Zeke and Jacobs now!
