"Defensive end Kylie Fitts, a four-star recruit Rivals ranked seventh nationally at his position, was committed to USC and took extra high school classes so he could graduate early and enroll at the university in January.
Fitts talked to a couple USC coaches at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 5 and they said they were ready to have him on campus. But the following Monday, he received a call saying his scholarship was no longer available for the spring semester.
Fitts was supposed to be on campus on Jan. 10.
The Trojans didn't pull his scholarship entirely, but deferred him to the fall. However, since Fitts had already graduated high school, he had nowhere to go and didn't want to wait."
I wonder how long before Kiffin hits the road packing? What a D-bag.

I don't think I am the only one to see that he went 7-6 this year. Did anyone else hear what the Stanford band did at the PAC 12 championship game?
No, what?
apparently, at halftime the band did a formation #1 and then shifted into 7-6.
That is fucking funny
it wouldn't let me edit, but it was actually 7-5
Think we already had a thread about this the day it happened fyi.
I also think I read somewhere else this happened because of Leon McQuay III.
yeah, i was about to post the same thing
Here's the link to that thread.
well maybe he can join Tubervilles staff at Cincy after his stint at USC
Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates. Football is no different, the guys down in the trenches win the games, not the coach.
Sorry, it is hard to keep track of all the stupid sh*t Kiffin is up to.
It's alright, I heard about this Fitts story right after he decommitted but didn't hear why it was that he reopened up his recruiting. Now I know what we all assumed...Lane Kiffin was up to his usual douche baggery.
Yes - OJ's alma mater continues to be classless...........
It would be hilarious if Fitts kept USC in his top 3, then during his commitment announcement once he picks another school, explain to the reporter that he remembered that Lane Kiffin isn't Pete Carroll, and he didn't want to play for a coach willing to do what he did to him. It would be hilarious for Kiffin get smeared on national television for being a douche.
Dustin Fox was our leading tackler as a corner.... because his guy always caught the ball.
It is unbelievable to me how Kiffin still has a job! He must have something really bad on the AD and the president to keep his job.
Kiffin's buyout must be something like Bill O'Brien's, that's my guess. of course, it doesnt break my heart. USC can shove it.

Lame Kiffin better watch it. I think his days might be numbered. The USC AD just fired the basketball coach IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEASON. The AD wants to win and he means bidness.
I wonder if USC could raise enough for the buyout, which I read is quite hefty (can't remember the exact figure).
Let's take a look at how the transition from Pete Carroll to Lame Kiffin has gone.
funny stuff, ATXBUCKNUT.
Totally missed this story the other day. Maybe Lane can join his pops here in Texas. I really think he will be run out of town after another sub-par season in 2013.
I hope USC is forced to keep him at least a few more years, though. I revel in USC's mediocrity.
Schlabach predicts Lame being fired next year (prediction #5). Based on the Twitter traffic, I'm not so sure USC fans will let him make it to next year. With the Fitts story out in the open, they are livid.
But of course, Schlabach is also an idiot for his #7 prediction. j/k! But seriously he kind of is.
And, here's a nice, subtle jab today at Lame Kiffin by ND's Brian Kelly (who of course just got the commitment of one of USC's recent de-commits):
