Trusted sources are now reporting Chip kelly has been confirmed as the new head coach of the Philidelphia Eagles.
My question now becomes, Will Chris Peterson now become Oregon's next head coach?

Peterson served as the Duck's Receivers coach for six seasons and: In an Oregonlive article from March of last season
With his 73-6 record in seven seasons in charge at Boise State, Petersen is college football's most coveted commodity. When the annual firing-hiring season begins in December, Petersen's name seemingly appears on the short list of every coach-hunting athletic director in the land.
I know he just inked a new contract worth $12 million over 5 years back in January of 2012. However looking the buyout of $750,000 is actually quite small in relation to other top D-I coaches. I'm quite sure The Nike University of Eugene can afford the gratuity on this bill.
In addition, there is this excerpt from cbssport.com's Bruce Feldman:
A source close to the coach said there are two jobs the UC Davis grad would be tempted by Oregon and Cal.
Well, the California-Berkley job has been filled. So does Petersen end up at Oregon?

I think Oregon has implied that if Kelly was to leave (which he now has) that the OC would be promoted to HC
Champions Bleed Scarlet & Gray
This man knows something about running an elite offense...it's time.
Pretty sure Oregon said the OC is the coaching in waiting if Kelly left.
No.
