The fact "that it's football" is immediately disregarded when considering it's football between "The S-E-C" vs "Notre Dame". I think I want Alabama to win, because I dislike Notre Dame so much. Having admitted I want the S-E-C to win this thing, I understand I am in a no win situation and should just not watch. No sense in torturing one's self for 3 hours..........just deal with the aftermath.

You must not be a degenerate gambler.
Too bad.
Help is on the way.
Honestly, this is the 2 teams I had no desire whatsoever to see in the national championship game. its a lose lose situation either way
hard to believe it's somehow worse than having 2 S-E-C teams in it, rematched even, like last year.
I was commenting for this years NCG. I think we all knew they were not going to put 2 sec teams in it again
Um, if they were 1 and 2, yeah they would.
I'm watching tomorrow looking for an SEC loss, if not I see tOSU be the only unbeaten team in CFB. By alabama standards that counts as a national championship.
While I definitely don't want to see either team win and wish both teams got pink eye before kickoff, I am excited to watch because it has the potential to be a great game. They are arguably the two best defenses in the country, but I expect the offenses to be effective enough that it will not be a repeat of the game last year. It's going to be tough seeing one of theses teams take home the title, especially with tOSU going undefeated.
You would be watching if that guy ringing that bell was on the sidelines!!!

This is my all time favorite....RING IT DUDE!! RING IT!!!

Is 'ringing' what they call it nowadays?
Blind and palms like Chewbacca.

It's the national championship game, I promise you it's not torture.
I'm ready to see the SEC streak come to an end. A year in which Bama, LSU and Florida all lose in bowl games? That'd work for me!
The chances are we will be facing one of them in the BCS title game next year
consider it scouting
I'm a friend of thunder is it any wonder lightning strikes me
I gotta watch! I'm just a hopeless football junkie!
Wherever you are, there you be!
Yeah, last CFB of the year and the NC game - I gotta watch. I could literally care less for either of these teams & can't imagine rooting for either but I will be watching. What a horrible scenario - another win for the SEC or an undefeated Notre Dame with a National Championship & those fantastic fans of theirs...actually, I gotta go throw up.

Last year's game was torture actually. This year however I am intrigued. It could be a very good game.
The best thing about last year is LSU looked so bad that '07 looked not so ugly.
Wherever you are, there you be!
It may be a good game, but I have absolutely no desire to watch a second of it, and won't. I'd rather watch an episode of Honey Boo Boo.
Living in SEC country, I'm rooting for an SEC loss so I don't have to hear about it afterwards.
Exactly what I was going to say.
I love NCAA Football and there will be no way I miss this game. I realize it is SEC vs ND and I don't really like either program but this should be a great game and I can't think of anything better to watch on a Monday night?
I am watching just to see Lacey make Te'o look average.
~Because we couldn't go for three~
I hate both teams. I'll be both happy and sad no matter what the outcome... Unless they both forfeit. But I'll be watching! Rooting for mediocracy on both sides.
This is a historic matchup between two classic superpowers of college football. Who don't we hate amongst the other superpowers? Hate Michigan. Hate USC. Oklahoma is infuriating in big games. Texas as a state could secede and it would make me very happy. Alabama/LSU/Florida are pure, idiotic, backwater evil. And ND is the easiest to despise.
If this type of matchup doesn't get you excited, you're not leaving yourself a whole lot of options for alternatives, seeing as how these teams are probably always going to be in the title game when Ohio State isn't.
Not watching.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
If the game gets to where Alabama is killing ND like they did to Michig@n earlier this year then I am turning the TV off.
F--- Michigan!
Me either....If Bama wins the rest of the country will yawn and their fan base will feel about as excited as if they just prestiged in Call of Duty.
If ND wins, we'll have to hear about how ND is the greates team ever and ND is back for good...blah, blah, blah.
Lose, lose so why watch?
"I'm One Bad Buckeye, and I approve this message."
watching because i love college football. dont much like either team, however i hate the irish. so uh roll tide roll, and i hope they do so in a big way.
I have never been happier to have my in-law's in town. I will not be seeing this.
~Because we couldn't go for three~
Flipping between the game and wrestling.
Class of 2010.
Other than OSU-Florida and OSU-LSU I have only watched the title game sparingly in the last several years. Reason No. 1, I hate the SEC. Reason No. 2. I hate the BCS. Reason No. 3 I hate the SEC. I'm not rooting for anyone tomorrow. Either SEC extends its dominance (gag) or ND spends the next 365 days bragging about how awesome they are (vomit). Either way, college football (and me) loses.

Talk about a lose-lose. I work with both Alabama homers and one very loud and obnoxious Notre Dame homer, so either way, I'll be hearing about it for the forseeable future. The Bama fans are so annoying now though because they act like they expect to be playing in the championship every year, it's just what their team does annually. It's kinda true and all, but it's still annoying. And then the Notre Dame fan @ my office has been surprised all year that his team has managed to go undefeated and even be playing for a championship. Lately though, he's been picking up steam as far as talking up the game and how the Irish are gonna shock the world, blah, blah, blah. This game can't be over fast enough cause I'm ready for next year when OSU can actually play for it!
As much as we hate ND, we have to root for them to end the SEC run!
"Because I couldn't go for 3"
anyone wonder what Charlie Weis will be doing for the game?
Quite a few of his recruits will be on the field.
It's the last college football game for 8 months. That's the only reason I'm watching.
Gotta root for the end of the SEC chants!
I can't miss the title game two years in a row, I also can't tell myself this every year it's not the bucks.
There is no way that I would miss the NC game...that doesn't even make sense to me. I understand not watching Florida State vs. Northern Illinois, but the NC game??? C'mon people. Trust me I hate ND and the SEC enough to root for TSUN in a bowl game, but I wouldn't miss the NC game.
Ill watch, I hate both teams but have to go with the Irish tonight. I would really despise having to sit in my lazyboy and listen to the damn SEC chant. Plus, I believe UFM is doing some announcing of some kind
I'm a football fan....so I must watch bc it's the NC. Not to mention, it's two good teams and why not. No NFL MNF on...so...what other choice do you have...Honey Boo Boo child with the wife or whatever else they like. I really think ND has a chance....well may be not...but I'm still pulling for them to win. Can't stand hearing about how GOOD the SEC is for another year or more.
