There was some news on TOS about Corey Smith committing to tOSU but nothing concrete has been released yet.

Let me throw out a disclaimer before I type this...I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy or captain bring down and the buzz killers with this btw. I'm just not so sure about Bell...we'll see I suppose. I tend to think others are going to pull the trigger before he will. He'll end up taking all three visits IMHO of course. I hope his parents being there will help...but this has happened in the past (ie Diggs last year). I think it will be Corey Smith announcing soon and Gibson with a silent verbal with the potential of Marshone Lattimore too.

Let me preface this by saying I love Tres. I am not mad at him at all and I would gladly repeat his tenure here over and over.
Urbz is a better recruiter. To all those doubtful about Bell, maybe you're right and he doesn't become a Buckeye. However, do you feel that way because Tres gave you Seantrelhendersonitis(a disease that causes an assumption in its victims that late cycle recruits will not choose the good guys)?

I've been waiting for a gray box since last night. The anticipation is brutal!

Either way, we gotta get some dudes to leave. Kinda sad but expected. Gibson is a Buckeye ! Bell will take all three visits and yes he will have a spot. The suspense is killing me!!! I have checked the site probably 30 times for any update... That isn't too many times is it?
Yes. The basketball game doesn't start until 1:30, will last until 4ish. Start checking after the game, because odds are no one will commit until the end of their visit, or at least make it public until after.
I would watch the game but it won't start for two more hours here in Tokyo, which means 3:30 am, and won't end until approximately 7. I guess I'll just hit the rack and catch the updates around 10.
James Clark (WR 2013) just tweeted that OSU called him. Is this Urban and Co playing games to put pressure on Gibson and Smith or do they feel both of those guys might go somewhere else? I can't see the need to call another WR when we can only take 1 more.
My guess would be to tenatively schedule a possible visit. Urban plans about 12 moves ahead. If Smith commits, Clark never happens IMO. But just in case, you have a back up for all of your back ups. This is just my educated guess though.

Why not cover your bases? He is one of the top receivers who still seems pretty open this late in the game. Might as well get your foot in the door late in the game. And if it puts enough pressure on Gibson or Smith to commit that works too.

I might be the only one here but I am really hoping its Corn Elder. I have seen him live a couple times ( I went to a high school in his division) and he has the speed.
I agree with you completely. Corn Elder has 4.4 track speed and a stride that is reminiscent of Reggie Bush's. Doesn't get much talk from OSU fans these days.
Personally I wnt to grab Cameron Hunt ifhe is indeed on campus right now. We need that help in the OL depth. Hunt and Corey Smith are my top two

I was standing at the corner of the two student sections. Hunt (who carried his weight extremely well, looked like a good guard build) was a little late arriving, arrived with Warriner. Booker Jr. and Ed Parris both arrived with Vrabel. During half, Lattimore, Darius West, and Smith (I think) went and talked to Meyer, who was standing near the end of the SW tunnel. Just my observations!
